Lots of players have potential, lots don't make the most of loan spells, etc., in order to show they can make the step up. Some will turn things round with new clubs, maturity and so on - my faith is in our current management, and if they've chosen to release him so be it. Wish him well though. |

I reckon that's covered by "Marvin will be responsible for all the off-field parts of the academy, so operations, education, player care, safe-guarding" - not explicit but academies are certainly going to be challenged and audited on that aspect as well as doing the best for them on field.

Apart from those who don't like change away from the easy touch for players and staff that we've become, a CEO with all that on his CV is great news for ITFC. A few weeks ago League Two was at the back of people's minds, now we look to have an incoming CEO reknowned for "wily transfer dealings" and who has transformed "Ashton Gate and the club's training infrastructure".
In the 21st Century, what is not to like?
