Thought he looked good for them today. Caused us lots of problems. If KVY is out for a while he'd be an upgrade on Gwion

But Tranmere were very poor.
Incredible how much of a different side we look now that we have a settled side and shape. I really don't think we would have turned that round a few weeks ago during lambingo.
Flynn Downes is a truly superb player, he is so strong but also very brave in possession. He has an all round game that is so well complemented by Huws. Emyr was immense especially in the 2nd half but the cameo from Bishop was the icing on the cake, absolute different class. I still think he is a CM but he did more in the CAM role than Judge has done all season. Shades of the old Bishop going past players for fun, they couldn't cope with him.
Chambers was excellent today, I think he won absolutely everything and Woolfy showed more examples of being a Rolls Royce defender, he is hampered on the left side and a few times looked slightly uncomfortable on his left peg but he took it all in his stride. Wilson was the dodgy link at the back, at times defending really well but others looking soft and his distribution was terrible.
My views on Edwards are well known but he ran up and down well today, unfortunately he just doesn't have anything else to offer.
I felt sorry for Keane today, some weird morons in the crowd decided to give him abuse in the 1st half but he worked hard and is a class above with the ball on the floor. I would rather see him staying more central but he is very unselfish and works all over. Jackson was a frustrated figure 1st half but caused them no end of problems 2nd half.
As I said at half time, Norris kicks worse than Gerks no idea why we get him to take all of the set pieces.
The subs all made sense today and all contributed, the ball from Skuse when everyone assumed he would just clear it started things off and the ball from Nors was perfect.
A good day out and the crowd were quality, another example why a half full away end when you sit where you like is better than a full one
PR Paul make sure you stick to the shape that suits us with minor tweaks. We have far too much for the rest of this league but we need to build momentum and be a team.
Edit: in hindsight it was maybe the most consistent performance of the season opposed to the best. The pitch made it hard to play too much. Actually it probably still was the best performance

Tranmere are very poor but we somehow seem to be struggling to create anything of note. When we do it seems to be a crowded out Jackson in their box. He seems very frustrated up there.
Keane is working hard and occasionally showing his class but on the whole it isn't coming off for him. Judge isn't really making any impact at all and looks even slower on the beach.
Downes and Huws are a class above but like Keane it isn't all coming off for Huws. Downes is having a physical battle in there but well supported by Huws.
Edwards is his usual meh. Chambers has done well and Woolfy looks different class but Wilson is struggling and I've lost track of the amount of times he has kicked it straight off the pitch. Garbutt is another on the beach but has been ok. Norris hasn't made a save but his distribution makes Gerken look like Pirlo
My next main thought is wondering whether barbers is Ipswich take qualifications like they do elsewhere in the country. Our fanbase have some shockers

Keeper - should be Holy for me but if they have arranged a deal to keep norris permanently then it doesn't make a difference which one we develop. Covered with Norris Holy and Przybek
Wing backs - left is Garbutt then Kenlock, Garbutt had been excellent and Kenlock is decent enough back up. Right is obviously the excellent KVY but he is injured, so Donacien and Edwards, neither are great solutions as 1st choice but I would use Janoi ahead of Gwion. Hopefully KVY to return soon if not ship one out and replace.
Centre halves - best combo for me would be Chambers, Skuse and Woolfenden. Earl and Wilson now competing for places. This should be enough cover, JD and MK can fill in if a crisis.
Centre mid - Downes and Huws 1st choice with Bishop not far behind. Nolan next and then Dozzell. Plenty of cover
CAM - Judge followed by El Mizouni. Could also use Nolan or Bishop but both prefer CM
Forward - any 2 from 4 really avoiding jackson and sears together
KVY (Donacien) Chambers Skuse (Wilson) Woolfenden (Earl) Garbutt (Kenlock)
Downes (Bishop) Huws (Nolan)
Judge (el miz)
Norwood (Keane) Jackson (Sears)
The biggest concern is the KVY injury and losing Downes but that squad is easily good enough to win this league. I'm not concerned about another CB there should be plenty there already

But reading the story it implies that Bolton chose to send him back so that they could replace him with Toto. This seems an odd merry go round

Why isn't it showing on itfc direct?

Those if you that regularly tell me I am talking rubbish. Yesterday was pretty much what I have been asking for all season in terms of set up. Ignoring the intensity stuff from PRP yesterday was all about the balance of the team and the lines

Huws looks different class especially in short sleeves

We need to maximise opportunities. How about a 2pm club where you can see the team and formation being revealed live? I reckon it would be a big hit this season

Where he doesn't mention Pep, Klopp or Borussia Dortmund?
Pep and Klopp might as well be a different sport so there is no comparison and him playing for Dortmund was over 20 years ago.
Can he ever just talk about something relevant that he is basing this madness on?
|Nsiala - a loan would make more sense |

His value must be very low and Bolton presumably aren't in a position to spend cash. Surely the best thing would be to send him there on loan and hope he performs heroics. A Mings to Villa on loan type situation

What day of the transfer window we are on? It was the only way I could keep track of the date and I was in a meeting earlier and had no idea of the date.
