Arnie - The trend is massively upward since KM came in and we have lost the joint least number of games this season and are 30 league positions higher than we finished the season before last.

Preston North End 3-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 20:26:47

Hells bells, so many in meltdown! We have a game in hand to go 2nd and after WBA we have 9 games against 9 bottom half teams then Southampton. Meanwhile Leic, Leeds and South have all got to play each other, inc South v Leeds on the last day of the season. The 1st half today wa a 'bad day at the office' but on our 2nd half performance I can still see us having a good points haul and getting 2nd. Appreciate where we are poeple and don't start digging at our saviour.

Ipswich Town 1-3 Fulham - Match Report
at 10:27:46

They did to us what our 1st team does to others. The 11 changes were off the pace and failed to close down. Our 1st team would possibly have won that with closing from the front and midfield but they didn't and we were exposed throughout. This was evidenced for the last 15 when we subs came on who looked like they wanted it. Great for Baggott, not seen him put a foot wrong in any of his appearnces yet. Expected better from Ladapo and Clark.

Morsy: We Were Bang at It, Near Our Best
at 11:30:51

Amazing on all fronts, even the Hull fans are glowing about Ipswich's performance across their various socials and message boards "We've just been given a master class" That is what we have to aspire to" "We are good team but that was a lesson" "We've just seen the league winners" etc

Town Release Shirt Numbers
at 17:57:59

So 29 named, exclude Ed and 4 x U21's = room for 1 more senior in the squad. I'd like to see us keep Baggot, plus get 1 in, if he can't step up now, then he won't be stepping up after a season under Steve Evans and his style of play. Grow him at home! The squad numbers suggest nobody elese is leaving at the moment. One more senior to come in, someone else to leave if it is 2!

New Kits Fastest-Selling in Town History
at 16:31:34

Has TWTD become the home of ITFC's whingebag fans? After all the negativity on here on Saturday about the new kit, low and behold it becomes a record setter!
To be honest my enjoyment of all the positivity of the last 12 months is often soured by reading the vitriloic statements by the same old culprits on here. Some of you are just so bitter when someone else disagrees with your opinion! And that is my opinion, just be respectful of your fellow fans... and I love the new kit, que the usual bitter critics...

Luongo, Aluko and Chirewa Offered Terms But Keogh, Penney, Coleman and Vincent-Young Released

Leicester must win and hope Everton don't, and then Leic stay up on goal dif. Leeds would need a 10-goal swing and 3 results to go right for them.

Luongo, Aluko and Chirewa Offered Terms But Keogh, Penney, Coleman and Vincent-Young Released
at 13:07:22

Shame Keogh wants to carry on playing, would be a good addition to the coaching squad with his defence knowledge and clearly played a big part in our goals against record. Prem retained players list not til after season finishes but hopefully JJ and Hirst can come back. Got a feeling Leicester will want to keep Hirst if they are relegated as there will probably be a mini clearout at Leicester. Vardy and Iheanacho will want to stay in the Prem for sure.

Morsy: We Trained Really Hard Today

Port Vale are Plymouth's bogey team. In their last 9 games over 12 years, Port Vale have won 8 and drawn 1. Go up there, do the biz and pick up that trophy for us all.

Its not over yet gents, Port Vale are Plymouths bogey team. Over the last 12 years they have met 9 games, Port Vale won 8, drew 1. Plymouth have only won 10 off 22 away game this season and we just need a better result than them on the day!

Aside of that, a MASSIVE THANKYOU to everyone involved in the ITFC resurrection.

Clarke: A Dream Come True
at 10:07:18

Well done Harry - one of the 4 key january signings that made this happen.

I am convinced we are going to win the title next Sunday. Plymouth are where they are due to an unmatched outstanding home record having won 20 of 23, but their away record is won just 10 of 22.

We have been top of the league at some point during the last 6 games but Plymouth kept pulling out late goals to grab results. Port Vale gave us the best battle during our recent run and have won or drawn 13 of 22 home games. I can see them getting a draw, which will do us nicely as long as we do the busines - we just need a better result than Plymouth on the day!

The lucky 1100 ticket holders are in for another memorable day out.

TWTD League Calculator 2022/23

3 weeks ago, i had us winning on goal difference, which included allowing Ipswich to draw at Pete and Barns >

Ips 98 49
Ply 98 31
She 95 40
Barn93 37

I am even more hopeful as Shef and Ply have dropped 2 points each since the above forecast.
