| News Comment | McKenna: A Special Day at 21:03:19
Few comments saying the best since we've had since Burley and I loved our era under burley and I know it was championship/premiership but I just feel mckenna has given us something a lot more special, the way we play even when we draw or lose is great to watch. We are already ready for the championship bar 2 or 3 additions. This guy will manage a big big club one day |
| News Comment | McKenna: First Half Well Below the Acceptable Standard at 02:04:22
Im starting to see a bit of a trend starting here with some people....mckenna hasn't been just a better manager than what we have have had for some time hes a new brand of manager whose approach to the game is what todays era needs, so much so that I wouldn't swap him out for any manager in the leagues above us....yes it gets frustrating at times but I really feel we should be backing him to the hilt, even when things don't always work...he will get us there |

Cook mentioned he was a good talker...could that mean he's the captain for this season? |
| News Comment | Lambert: We Were the Better Team at 01:46:57
I guess Evans doesn't have to worry about losing the fans under the current and ongoing circumstances, so the fact that we are trung to voice our opinion on line doesn't matter to him...its not like we can even march on Portman road in protest either at the moment. Unfortunately the only voice we have is the media and now PL is saying what they say doesn't matter to him. At least tell us the truth ME, tell us that even if we turn in to relegation candidates you won't be replacing the manager to at least the end of the season orsack PL on monday |
| News Comment | Town Reiterate Evans Still Supports Lambert at 01:51:44
My fear is that Evans will go along with the excuses of bad luck and injuries and continue to back PL til the end of the season, then its likely we will lose a lot of the talented younger players we do have, ward and Chambers may retire then instead of having a team that SHOULD be looking at promotion we will be left with a team that belongs in this league for years to come. Maybe paying lambert off wouldnt be so costly in comparison in the long term Evans?? |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-2 Reading - Match Report at 01:25:13
Players needed for league one next season that we already have (even if on loan/short contract)...gk's: bart, wright defenders; kenlock, Emmanuel, woolfenden, Pennington(wishful thinking) mids; dozzel, edwards, nolan, judge, bishop, nydam, downes, forwards/str: jackson, harrison, lankester and sears, i know hes injured for months but hes not injury prone.....cut back the dead wood (and injury prone - hence no keane) so looks like we need 1 rb, 1 cb at least, another decent winger and an experienced striker...maybe nsiala could be ok with a run of games, but seems hit and miss, no worse than chambers though...someone else here said it - give judge the armband |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-2 Reading - Match Report at 00:52:12
One up front never looked like it was going to work, especially when that 1 is quaner...looked like he would fall over if he had the ball for more than 5 paces, was slow to react even when the balls over the top were decent, would have gone jackson for collins to pose a better threat rather than like for like...edwards great, nolan is a pest to the opposition, liking him more and more and though judge did all he could considering , Pennington put himself a bit too, other than that thought everyone else was average at best, whole new back 4 needed i think for next season, wasnt too impressed by kenlock today |
| News Comment | Town Block Derby's Move for Pennington at 19:58:00
Show intent by town ...lt gives lambert options depending on who we are playing...this is good business ...we can worry about permanent fixtures next season...if we stay up, if not im happy with what we have in the fringes...not spence obviously |
| News Comment | Judge Signing Confirmed at 21:27:21
Its like we have a brand new team and huws on his way back too...and at least some of hursts signings will do a job for us next seasoni think |
| News Comment | Judge Signing Confirmed at 21:18:46
The odds as it goes on sky bet are 13/2....could well be worth a decent sized punt....we have done a lot more business than teams around us , but we need to win the 6 pointers....COYB |
| News Comment | Carter-Vickers Linked Again at 11:38:52
Cant really see a loan move for ccv....or any other player given the restrictions on loan players in matchday squads....would he move permanently to us considering a) its likely he wont play every game this season - chambers wont be dropped even if some fan think he should be...and b) if we go down league one is probably not where he wants to kick start his career. |
