Brentford!!!! Sorry they have no history of significance. KMc's family is settled, has limited Prem experience of managing. For the remainder of his contract he can hone his skills. Brentford if they are sensible will shop elsewhere, Thomas Frank is not really a good fit for Spurs. The truth is that football management is like a game of Russian Roulette - winning cups meaning nothing to owners, success is a double edge sword.

I think Chelsea have made a mistake including LD in their World Club plans. One Chelsea are not good enough to win the WCC and could damage LD before the Prem restarts. Pre season games would be better to gel with his new team. Many a young player has been damaged by a manager. Good luck to OH in the U21s. |

MH did well during his Derby spell, but we have a dilemma with our midfield players. We need to upgrade our midfield before returning to the PL. It is crucial to recruit a Premier class midfield player and then sell or end contracts of at least two midfield players. If we were prepared to remain in the Championship for a few seasons to rebuild with foreign players before returning to the PL. But the club is desperate to bounce back first time. Therefore KM and MA need a new mix of players to strengthen again. A difficult summer for decisions. |

A very strange game, considering we played well at Brentford. With only 4 shots in 65+ minutes then 7 shots in last 30 minutes. We are definitely in limbo with LD probably going and players looking forward to the end of the season. Probably the wrong starting eleven and not a good advert for motivating season ticket sales. We are being mooted as Championship favourites, but our players have to show up for 90 minutes. I just feel disappointed about today's game.

I have spotted one problem we have had playing in the PL. The 25 squad rules allow a minimum of 7 or 8 home grown players (generally at least three years experience in British football). This season we have 23 listed pre Jan 2025. Whereas other teams have between 7 to 15 . Therefore our squad needs boosting with more foreign talent before we return to the PL. The question being how well would a English 1st eleven perform in the PL. Probably top 10. Facts taken from official Prem squads for 24/25. No individual criticism of any player, but our quality has been lacking. |

What a hideous performance. Defending was well below par and when we tried to press there was no teamwork. Although Ensico's change was tactical, Clarke and Ensico attempts were our only highlights throughout the hold match. Not to criticise KMc to harshly his overall management and tactics were poor today. Greaves performance was poor and like the rest of the defence didn't want to tackle anyone. Arsenal were strong, therefore it was men against boys. But overall 26k paying supporters shouldn't be happy with today's display. Buckup Town you can do better. On this evidence LD will want to leave.
