Keeper Wright Moves to Sweden on Loan
at 08:48:52

What an experience for a 21 year old who won't get a look in at ITFC currently. Out of his comfort zone, play some competitive men's football, learn a new language. Come back a better footballer and better person - what's not to like?

Good luck, Harry. Take this opportunity with both hands.

Ex-Blues Defender Smith on Trial With Colchester
at 23:07:12

This is how I see it...
A left footed centre back, with over 30 international caps and 200+ games in the Championship and he is still only 30. We are in League One and in desperate need of an experienced defender and a leader who can share the captaincy work load with Chambers.
Aside from the fact that he's one of us and he would take a bullet to stop a goal, it actually makes sense.
Sign him up!

Vincent-Young Feeling Good
at 08:23:52

KVY speaks so well. He is incredibly articulate and sounds like an ambitious, hard working young man.

Could he be a shout for a role as team captain? With Chambers and Skuse playing a lot less this season (hopefully!) and Downes potentially moving on, I think KVY would be my choice. He's also probably the one player in our squad that everyone agrees on should be our team every week!

BLM doesn't mean anyone, or anything is more important than anything else.

All it is seeking to achieve is equality and fairness.

The reason perhaps PeteSwindon is mentioning the Poppy appeal is that it gets less publicity and footballers don't respond to it in the same way. I can understand why that is the case though, and that is because probably all black footballers have experienced some kind of overt/covert racism in their lives, meaning the BLM movement resonates more with them. They are bound to respond more passionately to something that is more current in their lives.

That is of course not to say that we should forget the poppy appeal and the sacrifices people made during the war.

Lambert: We've Paid the Price for a Bad Couple of Months
at 22:40:26

"The last couple of months"... give me strength! November, December, January, February and a bit of March were the months that we lost our season. We've been woeful. Pathetic.

God knows where we go from here...

Town Propose Play-Off Expansion

A desperate attempt from ITFC to salvage something that we don't deserve from this horrendous car crash of a season.

Forget it Town, you aren't good enough. Get over it, and build for the next campaign.

Lambert: The Uncertainty's Incredible
at 09:08:48

ITFCsince73 - haha wouldn't even need to face press! Could just be statement from someone saying briefly:
-We hope you're all well
-Players such as .... have been calling elderly fans
-We want to play out season because...
-Lankester ready to train
-Thanks for your continued support

Just a thought, but as with most things with ITFC these days, it is probably too much to ask :P

Lambert: The Uncertainty's Incredible
at 07:29:13

Completely agree with Lambert here.

However it's a shame we have to keep hearing from our manager when he's speaking through Talk Sport. I think during this period it would have been nice if the club had kept in touch with the fans a bit more. Just an official weekly update from Lambo, O'Neil, Chambers or perhaps even that bloke who owns the club?

5 minutes of their time just to to talk about EFL; where we stand on season resumption; injuries, incase we do come back; health of staff/squad; and just general well wishes to fans and thanks to key workers. Wouldn't have been hard and probably wouldn't have been much to say - but would have, IMO, been nice.

Oh well... Hope everyone's safe and healthy!

Jackson Contract Talks Reportedly Stall
at 12:27:04

11 goals, 7 assists and pace to burn. Would have hit 15/20 goals given a whole season which is decent.

Not saying that it WILL happen, but sell our top goal contributors and what happens? Look no further than the aftermath of losing Waghorn, McGoldrick, Garner etc...

Posh Chairman Issues Statement on Behalf of Six Clubs Including Town
at 08:30:10

The trouble is, if League One decides to resume the season, then we'll spend the next 2 months deciding on the terms of the renewed season - and the whole neutral grounds, 5 substitutes, 30 minutes half nonsense starts all over again just like has been going on with the Premier League!

There'll be teams who can't see the bigger picture and dig their heels in for their own self interest - like that bunch up the road - and not only will 19/20 be delayed further, but GOD knows what happens with 20/21 then!?

The key is that none of this is fair. Sadly, someone is going to have to lose out somewhere and that may just be the teams who are relegated via PPG...

League One and Two Clubs Set to Vote on How to Decide Season
at 14:46:51

Fair point 'poisitivity'.

I guess we haven't had the 'feeling' of being promoted in a very long time and if we were promoted this way it wouldn't be sweet like it has been in the past. There'd be no trip to Wembley and certainly no party.

It would be pretty terrible for footballing integrity if Rotherham and Coventry didn't go up though...

I know it's highly unlikely but I wouldn't want to see us promoted. We'd get absolutely destroyed in the Championship next year - we are nowhere near ready for that level again. The current table doesn't lie.

League One and Two Seasons Could Be Ended Next Week
at 19:57:44

Watching us play out this dead-end season on a training pitch on iFollow sounds like no fun at all.

End the season so clubs can save some money, promote Coventry and Rotherham, don't relegate anyone and just compensate by relegating more next season... whenever that is going to be!
