| News Comment | McKenna: Proud of the Performance in Brilliant Game at 19:19:12
He must be concerned about the lack of goals, from the chances we produce. Although he has got everyone on side with his reflections about pride and entertainment, the reality is we aren't finding the net enough, Moore, Chaplin, Broadhead have dried up while little can be expected of Al Hamedi at this stage in his development. Just hope the other two keep slipping up too. |
| News Comment | McKenna: We Didn't Hit Our Usual Levels at 22:32:51
Whatever plan there was didn't work and the substitutions made no difference. Too many misplaced passes, a lack of passion, almost like we only had to turn up. I can't think of a player who did himself justice, too many anonymous performances, Chaplin again, Broadhead, Luongo, Moore and Hutchinson all just off the pace and ineffective. I agree with others that sometimes it needs the manager to say that just wasn't good enough, instead of putting the video on for analysis - all part of his learning curve no doubt. |

Where on earth would we start with recruitment if we went up, who apart from Davis perhaps, would make it in the Prem? |
| News Comment | Blackburn Rovers 0-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 09:17:28
Firstly, what a shame to see a once great club on its uppers, rather like us at the end of the Evans era. Even though they hadn't won in 10 the crowd was pitiful. A wonderful 3 points to take us top but with a wake up call that playing out from the back will be our undoing, if not this season but if we get to the Prem. Everyone seems to have overlooked the Hladky mess up in the 2nd half that nearly resulted in a goal. Sometimes I think the players have forgotten to pass forwards, so many opportunities in the 2nd half for an 'out' ball to Jackson, which he didn't get. Sadly too many had their 6/10 games, Morsy and Luongo both looked one paced, Chaplin and Broadhead not effective, Moore only a big presence up front rather than a dangerous one. I like Tuanzebe at right back, calm and assured. But we got away with one here, thankfully. |
| News Comment | Burns Withdraws From Wales Squad at 20:29:05
Olive, that's rather a patronising response isn't it? I think they know exactly what the extent of the injury is by now, but still no news, secondly clubs don't believe what their competitors announce anyway. McKenna could say he's out for a month and they would still consider he might turn out for us on Friday week. Anyway, thanks for you opinion. |

Why is everyone so tight lipped on this injury? It's now Wednesday night and we are none the wiser how bad it is, all we have is a quote from the manager from Saturday. Surely it is no advantage to any of our competitors to know, so why the deafening silence? |
| News Comment | McKenna: Outstanding Performance, One of Our Best at 09:21:46
What a win. McK is the man to improve, gel and get performances out of players that maybe even they didn't know they had. Let's hope Man Utd have their sights set higher (But maybe not Brighton?). |

Do you recall the calamitous summer we lost 40+ goals from the previous season's forwards who had moved on and we were left with poor old Freddie who had scored 2? He was a trier though. |
| News Comment | McKenna: It Was a Bit of a Wild Game, Wasn't it? at 08:28:56
The point about integration is interesting, I would like to hear McKenna explain it a bit more. He's the kind of manager who needs new players to come to the club early in the Summer window, to work on them and the system, the January window doesn't give him enough time. It does beg the question why more wasn't done to bring players in before the season began? |
