Lamberts PPG in our relegation season were even worse than Hurst’s , let that sink in.
Like it or not Cook has plenty of mitigating circumstances over a much shorter time. |

Is it just down to Easter and Good Friday and it being on sky that there is such a difference in demand from the Preston game a few eeeks ago …which is literlly the same distance?
Or is it that it was the just the end block on sale and people were waiting?
Or is it that people previously were getting points in the hope of tickets for Naarwich?
Am surprised that we haven’t sold a lot more , given that next season, away tickets are going to be just as hard to come by , with huge demand whatever division we are in.
With Blackburn pretty much allowing us mas many as we want , I thought we would take a big following. |

2. What has happened to Janoi? I don’t remember it being a season ending injury?

If you look at the first games this season against the remaining 11 opponents that we have , then we got 9;wins 2 draws and no defeats from those matches.

For us.
Looking at the amount of times we have been live on tv this season , by time we play Cardiff , I make it 15 , 16 if you include Wimbledon where kick off was moved for international tv coverage.
Out of about 40 games .
Will also be 14 of the last 23 games live on tv at that point.
That probably rivals some of the top Prem teams.

Aluko gave the ball away several times when trying to hold onto it, couldn’t chase down or press , tried some passes that didn’t come off , got done for skill by a non league player near the centre circle and apparently missed an easy chance tho I didn’t see that
At least Taylor and Broady got into good positions … Broady is in a bad patch and not a number 9 , There won’t be a queue for Sone .. great character but time is up |

That should be the end fir Aluko , he’s nowhere near the quality for this level , the amount of times he gave the ball away would make you ask if Maidstone would take him.
Time catches up with all of us , time to decide if we want him on the coaching staff or not. |

Elkan Baggott’s Indonesia ( like Frank Lampards Derby and Wayne Rooneys Birmingham) will be away a bit longer as Indonesia have qualified for the second round , becoming one of the four best 3rd place teams.
In the last 16 they will play Cameron Burgess’ Australia!
So I guess we get one or the other back soon. |

I stand in section 5 as well and theres a lot around us who sing but looking further forward to the front 6 or 7 rows of section 5 , the ones who sing or even clap are few and far between .
It’s like we have attracted people to the atmosphere end of the ground, who don’t know they have to sing to keep it alive… a bit like Man U and their tourists or Chelsea’s prawn sarnie brigade.
For the Sunderland game , I don’t think there was a sky speaker thing in front of the North , where there usually is , I saw one around block B of the Cobbold , this would effect noise on the tv, away fans always have their speaker.
The games atmos improved 2nd half , as some have pointed out the inept ref played a part in this.
I think there are other elements that have made it quieter in the SBRL, up til around this time last year and when the barrier was put up to make people sit in the upper if they had a ticket there , the drop off of noise was also caused by that.
How loud are Section A and Blue Action , in section 5 not that loud , however the bouncing , turning around and Leif celebrations , are impressive and great!
Song choice by Blue Action could be better , some songs are sung over and over without getting buy in, the Sam Morsy he’s Egyptian one , to She’s Electric is often sung but never gets traction , and drones on ,( would be surprised if much of section 4 can hear it at all) yet at away games the simpler Super Sam , For our superb captain is way way way louder but never sung at home…
I do like to hear the new songs and personally don’t have a problem with the Omari one , give the kid some support I say.
As others have said Ipswich to Amazing Grace is worth a go, and for me Blue. Army is better than blue and white army ( think back to that monster version of it at Barnsley last season) .
A lot of those songs are simple ones , easy to gain traction and others to join in, keep it simple.
The Ladapo in attack one could do with updating too ..Hursty , Chaplin , Broady maybe?
The Broady one , with slip and slide lyrics included is better … not just the just can’t get enough over and over was excellent at Derby last season , rarely sang at home.
A bit more thought into what songs are on the playlist.
And people who dont sing in the lower north , consider moving elsewhere , the improved atmosphere from more people singing there , will help your enjoyment of the match wherever else you are in the ground. |
