Lambert: I Left the Club in a More Than Decent Place
at 17:05:06

Unfortunately Paul Lamberts problem is he has a very high opinion of himself, never a good trait to keep telling people how good you are. Unfortunately when given the chances he just can't prove he can manage professional footballers and build a team. What he left behind him at Ipswich was a shambles of a playing squad which he was responsible for. The task for the new manager is simple, just get rid of most of them!

Judge to Play No Further Part as Contract Extension Not Activated
at 08:31:52

Judge is one player I feel sorry for this season. He has always tried his best and worked hard despite having problems within his family. He has knuckled down and just got on with things. Credit to him for that. As others have said he's not been consistent this season but how you expect someone to be consistent when every game they play they are being asked to fill in somewhere or play are different roll or play out of position I don't know. I think if Judge goes somewhere else and gets a settled position he will do very well. Good Luck Alan Judge, unlucky you were here in the biggest turmoil the club has been in for decades. I wish you well.

Cook: We're a Million Miles From a Good Team, Supporters Must Be Tired and Bored By Now
at 22:20:38

Full respect to Paul Cook for being interviewed and speaking the truth. Those of us who watched that tonight, well, it's getting worse. The cull can't come quick enough for me. Shame this wasn't the last game of the season. I personally would only like to keep KVY and Norwood. Remove everybody else from the club and it must include Skuse and chambers to completely rid the club of the old regime. New beginnings and start for the club next year. The new owners must help Paul Cookk as much as possible and given time he will get passion, skill and commitment back to our club. I can't see it being a quick fix though. It might take more than one season. It has been allowed to get this bad through lack of investment and wounds festering for far to long. We need a healing process to start asap with players with the right attitude and commitment.

Ipswich Town 0-0 MK Dons - Match Report
at 18:40:43

Seriously worried about our performances and Paul Cooks withdrawn position since the take over. He told us the job appealed to him because he was keen to work with Marcus Evans. Things have changed now and maybe the pressure that is now going to be installed on him, he feels maybe too great. Whoever is in charge they have one of the biggest jobs/problems in Div 3 next season. They are expected to build a team up from scratch and win the league or at least comfortably get into the playoffs next season. He will have time to access the quality, ability and strengths of the current squad and quite rightly will now be very alarmed at what he has in front of him going forward at ITFC. Is the job now proving in his head, to big for him? Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Todays performance was well, no better than any of the previous games under new management, whatever formation and players on the pitch they just don't do it. Strange that they did for 1-2 games under Gill. Pick of terrible bunch for me today was Downes and Dobra. The rest, well they can hang their heads in shame.

Edwards Linked With Sunderland and Preston

Let him go. Can't build a team around someone who's half hearted, uninspired and uninspiring. Another who's achieved nothing since he has been here and spends a lot of time injured.

Ipswich Town 2-1 Bristol Rovers - Match Report
at 18:26:12

Despite all the talk from Edwards about playing for his future and getting into the playoffs. Well his future isn't very good now then. If he gets a contract elsewhere it will be a miracle. Same goes for each and everyone of the underperforming players on that pitch again today. It seems whatever Cook does or says he just can't get a reaction or tune out of this mottley lot. They can talk the talk all they like, they are not physically or mentally up for it, for whatever personal beliefs they have in their heads. If they are let go by Cook at the end of the season, lets face it, contracts any better than what they are on now are going to be very hard to find......if at all. Message to Paul Cook. Please don't offer any contracts to any of these players who's contracts come to an end. They don't appreciate ITFC and they don't want or deserve to be here. Nor do the ones who still have contracts. We won, but I still don't know how. My god that was bad.

Cook: Supporters Will Be Delighted By the Changes in the Summer
at 10:23:04

Signing the right players that fit the positions and the club is paramount. Huge sums of money don't need to change hands. Look at signings by clubs like Peterborough, they find players, develop them and when the sell, sell them well. Some managers have contacts and have the knack, many don't. Bobby Robson most certainly did. Hurst was just out of his depth and damaged this club beyond repair and lost us several seasons. Lambert thought he was a good manager because he'd played for some big clubs but was a very poor player/man manager with a big ego. Good managers have a happy squad and get the best out of every individual. Players they know they can't work with are soon off loaded. Paul Cook is an exceptional manager with an amazing personality, we are lucky to have him but like others have said, I too fear he we be let down badly by the promises once again given by Evans just before season ticket prices are to be released. Don't forget we are where we are not by bad supporters but by a bad owner, bad decisions and lies fed to supporters every bl**dy year just before season tickets prices are announced.

Any players with contracts up, good. Your gone. Others with contracts, terminate them. They don't give a f**k. Embarrassed to be a fan right now. New team next year please. Total clearout. Made up of players who give their all for the club and supporters. No funds will be made available to the manager and he'll be gone in 18 months or less. New owner too please.

Cook: We Are Working Very Hard to Get Better and Going Forward We Will Get Better
at 11:45:19

Last game against Portsmouth it was so evident. for the 1st half we were full of energy, closing players down and playing and moving really well. Then we died. Like a battery that had run out of charge. For Cook to come out and be brave enough to tell us what many of us had thought since Lambert has been here is refreshing, but a damning report on the previous regime. What the hell did they do and expect to achieve with a huge average squad and lethargic approaches. Shake em up Paul Cook!

Dozzell: I Should Be Looking to Add More Goals to My Game
at 20:00:41

Like a lot of the squad......a good talker. Doesn't do no where near enough for me, too light weight and a poor tackler who is likely to get sent off. Sorry, I know this will upset the 'he's one of our own brigade', but Dozzell is one of the many I would move on in the summer. I wouldn't be opposed to a whole new midfield next season going on what I have seen this year. Unless PC can install some magic with what we have got.

Town Among Clubs Linked With St Johnstone Striker
at 13:00:01

Looks as sharp as a razor inside and outside of the box. Just look at the crosses and passes he gets playing him in though. Never in a million years can our midfield do that. We need a complete new midfield who can win the ball back, break up play, pass, create and link up play. Ours just strut around, can't play with pace and are lightweight. Love to sign this striker but can't see someone with that quality wanting to join our club.

Bishop: In Monday to Work Hard, the Gaffer's Told Us
at 17:46:07

Other teams seem fitter and stronger than us all over the pitch. When we played high tempo, high intensity Portsmouth couldn't get near us. Then, we tired and stepped off the gas and they scored. We looked shattered, we can't play at a high tempo for long, other teams can. We have become lazy all over the pitch under Lambert, now Cook is asking for more the fitness just isn't there.
