Got a ticket in Block A for tomorrow, looking for a ticket in SBRL so group can be together - if anyone would be up for a swap deal, let me know

What’s the single biggest reason you want us to go up?
at 15:38 8 Apr 2024

All the above plus the chance to see Ipswich play at Anfield, Emirates, Old Trafford etc (not to mention the excitement of having players like De Bruyne, Son, Saka playing at Portman Road)

Think you've missed the point tbh - whole point of a meal deal is affordable food for the average busy person and this is saying that making a yogurt a main is chipping away at that. Fair point surely?

2,529 away tickets at Coventry now

If we buy up the seats available quickly enough, they may feel pressure to free up space if demand from home fans is lower than anticipated.

On another note, anyone know what date this has been moved to yet?

Beginning of the end for Blue Action?
at 11:06 11 Mar 2024

think this is pretty misguided tbh

there are definitely some idiot fans at our club - see those making references to sheep repeatedly on Saturday (did it occur to you the people you're most likely to offend are the Welsh players on our own team)

But I think this tie (as propagated by Sky) between ultras and the far right is just not true in a lot of cases. Blue Action are clearly a good thing for the club and I think we should be taking more of a stand against misogyny, racism, homphobia etc where it emerges amongst other parts of our own fanbase - if you want to behave like that go and support Rangers or Millwall

Berlin sports pub for derby day

There's a place called Lolly Pub in Friedrichshain I always used to go to watch Champions League. I don't know if they'd be showing the big game though - might be worth checking if any Bundesliga/ Zweite Bundesliga games clash with it

no way we'll be facing Leeds in semi-final - West Brom would have to make their way to third for that to happen

Bristol City up and coming

Only previous memory (beyond the game at Ashton Gate earlier this season) is Brett Pitman scoring a bicycle kick at PR in the mid-winter... I think we won 2-1. It was down the other end to me so I think I've morphed it into a Puskas contender in my head when it may well have been a lucky shinner!

Current favourite for player of the season
at 13:17 20 Feb 2024

I think for a while it was Hladky. He kept us in games and was instrumental to our build-up play. We've had to evolve our style a bit as teams have sussed out the way we draw them onto us a little bit. This might have made Hladky seem slightly less impressive coupled with one or two mistakes. He's been great though and I love the way he has seized this opportunity.

Always suprised that Morsy is not more of an obvious choice in these conversations. He almost never puts in a performance less than 8/10 and our levels drop massively without him in there. He inspires the whole team and I think is the engine of quite a lot of McKenna's philosophy on the pitch. He is securing his status as an all-time great in front of our very eyes imho.

What a goal Freddie!

I've always been a fan of Freddie and was sorry it didn't really work out this season but I have to say this all rings quite true

Line up for Millwall
at 10:37 12 Feb 2024

Any chance Williams could be back in the squad tomorrow?

FWIW I think:

Hladky
Clarke Woolf Edmundson Davis
Morsy Travis
Burns Chaplin Broadhead
Moore

I think Burgess will come in on the weekend to rotate things a bit. Could be Tuanzebe gives Clarke some respite if we get a goal ahead. Travis in for this because I thought Luongo looked a bit tired against WBA...

They've got Wood, Awoniyi plus Origi on loan from Milan. Probably all out of range for us on any kind of deal but does seem like three pretty similar styles of striker for only a relatively limited number of games they will go on to play this season (17 in league plus however many in FA cup). Any of them would be fantastic for us.

I know there were a few days before the game, but I'm always surprised when this sort of thing comes to light. Most of us enjoy a few beers, but you'd have thought it would take enough of a backseat when you're a footballer at this level that this sort of thing wouldn't happen... anyway hopefully this is only the beginning of a Wednesday-esque foxes meltdown... one can dream
