A win is a win but my god that second half was painful.

Hladky, woolfy and clarke absolutely miles off it and Davis not much better either. If we don’t get top two then we won’t stand a chance in the play offs if we continue to concede so early.

Well that was sh1t. Regardless of our league position or how well the keeper played or some questionable ref decisions, that is embarrassing.

This confirms to me that broadhead is not a striker and in my opinion needs to be warming the bench for a while. Sarmiento a much better option on the left for me and although he gets a lot of stick, Jackson is far better up front.

Whether it's Moore, Al-Hamadi or Gallagher we need someone in urgently or this season will go the same way as the 14/15 season.

I'm p1ssed off

Lots of the ball but no real cutting edge. Chaplin really snatching at chances at the moment and when that happens, as well as no burns and broadhead, Hirst's lack of a clinical finish really becomes noticeable.

Still can't be too down about it given the start we've had but to lose it so late stings.

One of leifs worst defensive performances unfortunately. Tuanzebe did ok.

Solid option and can cover RB while JD and Clarke are injured, means we won’t have to rely on ball for too long. As long as this doesn’t mean Leif is off then I’m all for it

Lovely win, shame about Wednesday and Plymouth both winning but it's still all in our hands.

The big difference now is we are scoring when on top which is a very good sign. Probably wasn't a 3-0 game on the balance of play, but clinical finishing and Christian Walton were the difference.

What a result, both in our game and Barnsley vs Plymouth.

6 clean sheets in a row and 5 consecutive wins. Of those 5 this was the one on paper that looked the most difficult so a very big result. (Even with yet another p1ss poor referee)

Walton was INCREDIBLE. 4 or 5 fantastic saves and I think we're beginning to see the best of him again, much like the rest of the team.

Anyone else getting that feeling we can do this?

Ipswich Town 3-0 Accrington Stanley - Match Report

Another very good performance, not perfect but clinical when we needed to be. Broadhead and Jackson were brilliant all night and although he didn't score, Ladapo was brilliant with his back to goal holding the ball up.

It seems almost unfair on teams like Accrington that they have to come up against a midfield of Morsy and Luongo, they're a class above and look to have a good relationship building

My whinges if I had to be negative are JDs final ball and how often we floated corners straight into their keepers hands.

Also a shame about Plymouth but as we've heard KmcK say, we can only focus on our own jobs.

Fantastic performance throughout, I think the team that started is our strongest team and the depth we have from the bench is scary for this level.

Luongo a class above (and I'm a huge fan of Humphries).

Shame Plymouth won too but the goal difference is looking healthy

McKenna's lack of experience or stubbornness is really starting to hurt us. Any time a team doesn't allow us to play the way we want to play we drop points. He has no idea regarding subs/keeping a settled starting 11. YOU DONT NEED TO MAKE SUBS FOR THE SAKE OF MAKING SUBS!

Broadhead dropped. Why?

Forget top 2, I can't see us getting playoffs if we carry on this way.

I'm p1ssed off with this team, not for the first time this season

I'm sure we'll hear about how there were 'pleasing moments' from tonight but there weren't. We were lucky not to lose.

Ipswich Town 4-0 Morecambe - Match Report
at 21:52:43

That's more like it. Perfect response to last weekend. Morecambe were awful, but you can only beat what's in front of you. Clarke looks like an absolute machine and Chaplin and ladapo doing what we know they can do.

Not convinced on hirst yet but him just being here looks to have lit the fire in ladapo which can only be a good thing. Broadhead had a few good moments but maybe could've released the ball sooner on occasion if I'm being really critical.

And also lovely to get a clean sheet with Keogh and fridge at the back. Should have a happy squad ready for the rest of the season

Good luck to him, worked wonders for us with both hands tied behind his back. How different things could have been had Evans sold up a few years earlier.

Brilliant performance, dominated from start to finish and could have had 6 or 7 if Leif had been a little more composed in the final third. (He was still brilliant)

We would all agree that Humphries has been good since he's come in but Lee Evans is on another level. We are so much more assured with the ball and able to control games with him in the team so I'm chuffed he looks back to his best.

Was nervy at the end but we got through it. Hopefully we are turning the corner now.

I don't think I've ever seen a player get less decisions from refs as Chaplin, seems to be every game at the moment. Luckily it didn't matter today.

Kayden Jackson is not a goal scorer, but the work he does for the team is so valuable. Similar to Heskey back in the day where you see his name on the team sheet and invariably there are a few groans but managers love what he brings. He'll do for me

Didn't we just know that was going to happen. Yes the ref was awful all game, yes the equaliser was very lucky and yes we should've had a penalty. But once again we've thrown points away right at the end. It's as if were allergic to going top of the league.

Dominant from the start. Good to see Ahadme off the mark if Ladapo is out for any length of time and Chaplin seems to have found his shooting boots again just at the right time.

Well that wasn't good. Created next to nothing all game despite having a lot of the ball, by contrast they looked dangerous every time they came forward.

Probably edmundsons worst game in a town shirt, and there can now be no doubt he's 4th or 5th choice, never looks comfortable when being pressed.

Camara still clearly rusty and doesn't seem to have any kind of positional awareness.

Hopefully harness injury not too bad. Also where was ladapo?! We needed a goal and he stays on the bench. I appreciate that the league is priority but being out of a very winnable competition is very disappointing

Surprised we didn't have a penalty but I'm not going to use that as an excuse

Port Vale 2-3 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 21:57:57

This is the kind of game we would have lost or drawn last season after giving up a 2-0 lead. Once again not the most convincing, but a win is a win especially given we had no morsy or evans. Shame Plymouth turned it round too. Great to see Humphreys get his goal.

The one gripe I have is with John-Jules. The guy doesn't seem arsed half the time. Jackson and Harness were chasing everything down but TJJ just ambling around, maybe jumping to conclusions here but I sometimes get the feeling he thinks he's a bit too good to be a rotation option in league 1.

Either way a good evening for us and we move onto the next
