Thread | Was Norwood the only absent senior squad member?

After looking at the photo gallery from last nights game, the senior injured players were all sitting in the stands, apart from Norwood!!!
If he's fit enough to play golf, why is he not coming to our first friendly game in 5 months along with his team mates?
Something is going on here - lets wait and see whay it is. |

I'm heading to Wigan on Saturday and their club website says there is a car park for away supporters at the stadium. Has anyone used that or have a tip for where to park on Saturday? |

I was happy with him. He is still probably the right type of manager, but the players we've signed are not good enough and we've let our few quality players go. It's not a good situation at the moment :( |

I have to admit that I wanted a change of manager this season and really liked the way that PH came across in his press conferences. I had no idea how good the players he was signing were, so I just put my faith that he knew what he was doing. So I'm disappointed that the club is in its current position and worried about the quality of the squad that's now in place.
I would have thought that October is the final month for PH to prove that he can put a team together to win matches. If we get to November and our win column still reads "0", then I would hope that Evans would replace him.
That would give the new manager November/December to look over the squad before the transfer window opens in January.
The state of our attacking options is dire though, so I don't expect much improvement over the next few games. |

Harrison did win alot of headers on Tuesday, but none of those flick on's came off. I prefer 2 upfront and both Harrison and Jackson are used to playing alongside another striker |

That’s what I mean, is he still going after the players he would have done if Shrewsbury had got promoted?
I really like Paul Hurst so far and really hope he’s able to build a good team over the next couple of seasons.
Maybe the links with loans or signings from Premiership clubs will come nearer the close of the window. Id love one big exciting signing |

From the players Hurst has signed and are linked with, it seems that Hurst is signing the same level of targets that he would have done if he was still in charge at Shrewsbury. Hopefully he and his scouts are genius and bring in some great players and not that he brings in players that make us capable of avoiding relegation.
Seems also that we have no scouts over in Europe. Most of our “fans favourite” players that added something special were all from abroad. I’d love to see us bring in some talent like Pablo, Reuser, Sixto, Wilnis, Herman, etc |
