Clearly it's because we lost 34 consecutive games last year & all of our players have forgotten how to kick a football due to the trauma of last season.
Plus McKenna is a fraud, we'll finish 8th in the table and Ashton is more worried about his personal profile than doing his job.
I despair about some of our fans. And to top it off, my least favourite poster of the last several years appears to have been reinstated after being banned for the 4th or 5th time!!
Think I might need to steer clear of the forum for a while. |

I think we have a few options for Matusiwa:
- to the tune of the conga: do do do, Azor Matusiwa
- we could possibly resurrect Hermann's old tune
- or even sing his name to "The Final Countdown" by Europe (for those of us old enough to remember that)

If it was still July 2023 then I would probably agree that finishing 8th would be OK.
But it's not 2023 and the number of ridiculous posts like this on here continue to astound me.
But in an attempt to help you understand how bad things would have to be for us to finish 8th, please name the 7 teams you expect to finish above us this season. |

Dawson has been arguably the best spinner in the county game over the last few years, while he has a better career batting average than Crawley.
Probably should've been in the team long before now and I for one hope he does well. |

18 months too late if you ask me. He was only cleared of those allegations by two "internal" investigations and anyone who saw the leaked messages could see what he'd said and done.
But Horner is the ultimate bad loser.
Pretty much every F1 fan used to have a soft spot for the Red Bull team, even after Vettel's 4 consecutive championships, but after the rule change in 2014 which led to Mercedes taking over as the dominant team, he couldn't take it and over the last 10 years has turned into an egotistical piece of expletive who never takes responsibility for his actions as he thinks he's above the law.
You only need to look at how many senior people have left the team in the last 18 months to get an indication of what he's like to work with.
And more recently, as the Red Bull car is clearly struggling, he simply tries to throw as much mud as he can at McLaren & the other top teams, accusing them of cheating just cos he isn't winning every race any more.

I would say 219, but the genuine answer is 129 when on paternity leave about 12 years ago!
The wife was looking after our newborn daughter, so me & the boy decided to play footy in the back garden.
I was always more of a hard tackling defender than a skills merchant though. |
