From his appearances last season, I think he proved that he has the ability to play at Premier League level. |

Them's the rules, so it sounds good to me, and whilst the English football team doesn't need to engage in this sort of thing, English rugby certainly has done, as has English cricket with people like Greig and Lamb. And let's not forget Mo Farah who was not born in the UK. |

The pitch includes the area around it. This is section 4 of the Football (Offences) Act 1991. "It is an offence for a person at a designated football match to go onto the playing area, or any area adjacent to the playing area to which spectators are not generally admitted, without lawful authority or lawful excuse (which shall be for him to prove)." There is no lawful authority or excuse (which would cover, say, a fire), and this legislation was brought in for a reason. And whilst there may be safety in numbers, those who lead the way could well be arrested and banned. And who is to say that the same might not happen to others? To my mind the celebrations of the players on the pitch at Barnsley were magical, and I would rather the same on Saturday. |

A plea before the game from Mark Ashton and maybe also the Gamechanger people would seem sensible, whether on the big screen or in person. |

He strikes me as being a very good manager. Indeed, in the first half I thought he out-thought McKenna especially with the four or five players close to the penalty area when Walton had the ball. This meant we couldn't play out from the back, with the result that Walton had to kick, generally to nowhere, which was presumably part of the plan. They clearly look out for younger players with talent, so good relations with a club like Norwich sounds a good idea. Indeed, the 5 players they have bought in the transfer window are aged 20-22, in contrast to our 3 players who are that bit older. In any event, I thought at times that they were the best footballing side I've seen at Portman Road since MK Dons last season. |

I agree BotesdaleBlue. BBC local radio provided a great deal of companionship to my elderly mother after my father died. Indeed, in some ways BBC local radio has become a bit more like Radio 2 used to be, given the drive by Radio 2 and most commercial stations for younger audiences. |
