I saw some of them celebrating the draw last night as it deprived both us and Birmingham of points. As if they are going to be anywhere near us or Birmingham this season. Agent manning doing the business.
Azor had some moments of brilliance but got caught short on many balls into his feet. Morsy just seemed to have eyes in the back of his head and have the awareness of the position of opposition players and know exactly which way to turn or touch the ball to take it out of reach. He will need time to adjust to the high intensity of the championship. I think his technique and ability is much better than Morsy's and his ceiling will be much higher but just needs that footballing IQ that the egyptian king had. Let's hope a bit more experience of the championship and time training under Mckenna will see him improve over the season.
Whilst i agree to this to an extent.. since knapper came in, its been poor.
Crnac 11 million euros - really poor player last season. They spent the whole of last campaign crying how bad he was. scored 7 largely unimportant goals in big wins against very poor sides. The budgies think he will come good this year, i just cant see it.
Jurasek - 7 million euros. made 2 appearances last season to their bewilderment. huge question marks in terms of fitness for a 21 year old.
Cordoba - 3.65 million euros. Made lots of mistakes last season and looks like hes been replaced already and likely on the subs bench this year.
Forson - 4.5 million euros. described as lightweight and injury prone. managed 21 appearances at 22 years old.
Give or take that's pretty much the fee for sargent that they spent on these 4 players. If you throw enough sh*t at the wall some will stick of course but based on their recent big buys I am not worried about them.
I think they will probably fare better under manning. Kvistgaarden looks a good buy, but won't be an upgrade on sainz/sargent so could be another poor innings for our friends up the road.
Although not born here, Nick pope apparently represented suffolk at youth level so throw him in the mix! I'd say that qualifies for a suffolk citizenship
He will tear the championship apart, the problem was not Jens this season, I think we needed a better partner alongside him and we would have done better. I think morsy will do a job for us next year alongside him but he's only getting older and just feel he lacked the pace to keep up with the intensity of the prem. If and when we next go up, cajuste needs a faster and stronger partner next to him and i think he will shine.
