Need to generate a better atmosphere as well.
No Norwich songs, no songs about players who are not on the pitch unless they're about to go on as sub, get behind the lads who are on it and focus on ourselves and 90 minutes of positive support.
The Massimo chants in the first half against Watford were stupid, how about one for Taylor or some of the players on the pitch instead? |

If you read my posts properly you will see that I don't agree with the +1s getting a ticket.
It really depends how the benefit is worded in the contract though at the end of the day. |

I felt the same at Portman Road earlier in the season.
They were celebrating getting a draw like they just won the Champions League and they kept going on about it being our cup final, but they were the only ones who were really treating it like a cup final, because at that point it was pretty much all they had to play for.
My reaction was just to laugh at them at that point. Even the way that the PinkUn writes their articles and social media, it's like they are obsessed with us, clearly as a distraction technique from all the things that you have spoken about.
I came across a Norwich fan this morning who kept going on about 15 years, to which I told him to look at the league table. Still didn't get it. He was wearing Jeremy Goss shirt from the Bayern Munich match era. I guess that's all they have to hold onto. |

And that is completely wrong and for me, the biggest mistake is the issue of the plus one tickets and it's clear that there were a lot more +1s there yesterday than there is normally, which does make me think that something was different as you say.
I have no problem with the players getting a couple of tickets each and staff getting tickets for themselves only but as I said previously, the +1s of the staff who have not been there and don't work for the club, had no right to be there and these tickets should have been made available to fans. The club have got that part wrong.
No issue with Wardley being there considering he's done a lot working with the club. |

So you are going to go back to your boss on Monday morning and tell them to scrap all the benefits that you get with your salary, because you are paid for your job therefore you don't need or want any the perks or benefits you are getting in your contract?

I don't have a problem with the club giving players tickets or staff members tickets to be honest. They deserve to see the product of their hard work and the success they have contributed to. Their contribution in tuning our club around should be recognised rather than taken for granted as it is by some on here.
We also do not know what their contracts of employment or benefits packages say. If their contracts say they are entitled to tickets to matches then even if the club wanted to, they would not be able to stop them going to the Norwich match unless they wanted to breach the benefits package, which would create a huge amount of bad feeling internally which would not be in the interests of the team.
As I said I don't have any problem with the club giving tickets to the players and I don't have any problem with the club giving tickets to staff members. But what was wrong in my eyes is that they shouldn't have given the staff members a plus one for the game. The plus one's don't work for the club so they shouldn't get a ticket. |

So what you're saying is, the players and staff who have fought tooth and nail to have one of the best season's in this club's history should not be rewarded for their efforts in doing so? Complimentary tickets like this are common in most clubs and the better the team is doing, the more people who will want complimentary tickets, this is why you get 400 going to Norwich now whereas during our poor years under Mick you couldn't give 400 tickets away to staff and their plus ones even if you tried.
Can't this wait till the end of the season if you really want to make this point? Or are people on here determined to create a rift between the players, staff and the club at a critical point of the season when it is imperative that we all stick together.
Real fans indeed. If I was a staff member and reading these messages I'd be very upset if I spent the last two years working to get the club to this point and the club would not give me anything back in return, it would make me feel like I don't matter. These are the people who have turned our club around, they deserve a little more respect.
The entitlement to some people on here is extraordinary, if you were a staff member of the FA and spent two years putting blood sweat and tears in to the England national team, would you then expect to be told you have no rights to see the product of your hard work?
Get behind the team, the last thing we need right now is trouble in the camp where there's an argument between the staff, players and supporters over who deserves tickets more. It's not going to help our chances and will just weaken the connection and bond between the players and the fans and the club. -There's a time and a place for these arguments and for sure it's not right now. Wake up and see the bigger picture.
Personally if I was doing it, I would have given the players two tickets each and a staff member a ticket each just for them. I think the biggest mistake is the plus one nonsense, especially for a big game and where there is only a limited ticket allocation, I think the plus one allowance for staff should be brought back only for away games where supply exceeds demand and we are having bigger allocations than the paltry 2k we got for Norwich. Really poor to be honest.
We really need to get top two as I can't see us beating them in Play-Offs. We seem to feel pressure both this match and the home one, even though we blew them away at home. [Post edited 6 Apr 14:03]
