The worrying call up is Cameron Burgess as his travelling is off the chain. If he is called up then its Sydney next Thursday playing against Lebanon in the World Cup qualifiers and then off to Lebanon for the return the following Tuesday. Then its back playing for us on Good Friday, we all know what happened when he went to the asian championships, that almost put us into freefall, so this travelling will hurt us more than the 3 Welsh.. |

How the hell has Hourihane been picked ahead of Morsy, when the Derby midfielder has been unfit most of the season? Christian Walton unlucky as well! |
| News Comment | Plymouth Back On Top as Pilgrims and Barnsley Win at 22:52:33
If we play our best team and play to our potential, we will win every game left this season, that's all we need to focus on, not what the others are doing, none of the other 3 teams are as good as us, so hold on tight!!! |
| News Comment | McKenna: Disappointed Not to Go On to Win But No Complaints With Draw at 08:55:36
I travelled back on the train with some Plymouth fans and the truth is they can see that we are a good team when our own supporters cannot. All of them voiced that we are the best team that we have played home and away this season and they are also convinced that they will fall away into the play offs. They have huge concerns about the quality and size of there squad which includes 6 loanees and just 21 players as financial constraints have stopped any more signings. Interesting that all of them were happy to see Whittaker go back to Swansea and called him a luxury player who played when he wanted. Personally, I think we should take the point, dust ourselves down and go and beat Oxford next week. COYB |

Bezzer, if you look where Man United and Spurs are in there league, you will see why we are not tapping there youngsters up to come on loan. |
| News Comment | Town Close to Signing Veteran Defender Keogh at 12:05:58
Having seen Ndaba twice this season its obvious that he needs games via a loan, as he was poor and hoplelessly exposed on both occasions and based on those performances, this guy will not only provide cover but may also challenge for a start as he is decent and very experienced. |
| News Comment | Forest Green Rovers 1-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 09:12:01
When are you going to understand that the way that KMK plays you are not going to geta striker that scores 30 goals per season, in fact the way football has gone no striker scores 30 goals in any league any more. The strikers job here and at most other clubs is to hold the ball up and for the players behind to feed off of him, so eventually if we win or are promoted then 4 players will score 15 goals plus. If we paly on the break and in this division its unlikely then the striker will receive service from wide and has a better chance of scoring. Only in 442 formations do strikers become prolific and thats usually from Route 1 football. So on we trot and get used to many different names on the sheet this season as thats how KMK wants to play. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Pigott Part of the Squad at the Moment at 09:06:35
Why are we worrying about a striker who managed 2 goals last season, look at the bigger picture if Portsmouth are chasing him, then we must be ahead of them in the race to sign Hirst who is 23 and does score goals. |
| News Comment | Ashton and McKenna on Simpson at 13:23:48
Personally I dont care how arrogant Ashton is as long as he backs KMK and continues to take us up the leagues as I am certain he will. As for Simpson, its obvious something went on at Swindon as 2 other loanees were also sent back to there clubs on the same day as Tyreece. To me it stinks of agent involvement and rightfully Ashton has boxed that avenue right off. His agent would be better off advising Tyreece on how to use Social Media in a positive light, than playing financial games with ITFC. I wouldnt mind if he was dynamite but the lads goal ratio in the U23s isnt great! |
| News Comment | McKenna: We Could Very Easily be Sitting Here Off the Back of Two Wins, We Should Be at 07:52:29
Why would you want to give Simpson a chance? Its obvious he was tapped up whilst at Swindon and was recalled to test his loyalty so he could sign a contract. Has he signed the contract? No, so it would suggest he is off in May, anyway if you watch the U23s you will see the same as KMc does each day, he simply isnt that good. |
| News Comment | Penney: We'll Be Looking to Right a Few Wrongs at Bolton at 09:16:03
To me that game epitomised Cooks reign at ITFC. We were playing decent football, but he had no idea of how to play against a team sitting back and taking us apart on the break. We stayed the same formation for 90 minutes. No plan B and after 70 minutes he sat motionless on the bench, then slating the players afterwards and claiming they still needed time to gel for the umpteenth time. |
| News Comment | Harris Tight-Lipped on Town Interest at 08:10:37
It doesn't matter who is linked with the job, Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland are bigger clubs than we are and attracted Darren Moore and Lee Johnson, if they had been suggested as our next manager then it would have been outrageous in most peoples eyes. We are where we are, and until supporters get out the clouds of champ manager then we will continue to mediocre. Harris was recruited by Cardiff who are also a bigger club than us and did fairly well for most of the time, so I see this guy as just about the best that we can attract. By the way Millwall loved him and it wasn't long ball stuff either and he lives in Rayleigh in Essex and can always be seen watching the local non league stuff in the area. Get real guys! |
| News Comment | McGreal Rejoins Town in Coaching Role at 16:29:48
Good appointment, if I was Ashton, the first job I would give him was to get on the training pitch and sort our first team defence out! |
| News Comment | Cook: One of the Toughest Days I've Had in Management at 19:41:31
The bigger picture is that we are 10 points behind Wigan and 12 behind Sunderland. That means we have to beat both of them home and away and hope they drop points while we win all of our games, fact that wont happen! Its plays offs at best and the way we are going div 2 will accept us with open arms. Today was embarrassing and no one seems to be coaching this back 4 whoever they are, because weekly we concede goals in the same manner. Shocking!!! |
| News Comment | EFL Confirm Town Squad List at 13:37:30
Monkeyblue, regarding Kenlock, I have some reasons as to why he isn't required and so does the manager. He gets forward to attack but never gets back to defend. In the last 5 years he always gets on the wrong side of his winger and hopes that pace will save his brain. 1 cross in 10 gets past the first man, are they enough reasons to sacrifice him? Also if he is so great why has no other team shown any interest in him? |
| News Comment | Morrell Signs For Portsmouth at 06:28:26
FrankMarshall, if he is that good, why are Luton getting rid of him and why is he dropping down a division? One minute Cowley is whingeing that they cannot afford him, the next he is signed. Expect a few fireworks when we meet Pompey. |

I hope that when it is fixed they will replay the tribute to Paul Mariner given by Terry Butcher and John Wark and supposedly aired at half time.. The lack of sound and muffling made it impossible to hear a great tribute to a great legend. |
| News Comment | Cowley Confirms Jacobs Bid Accepted at 08:31:13
The priority has to be 2 new centre backs, I turned up yesterday expecting to seeing a new dawn. I did in full backs, midfield and attack, but I saw 2020 defending from the 2 centre backs who at first sight do not appear to have improved or learned. 3 attacks from Morecambe in the whole game and each time the centre backs were at fault. 2 new mobile central defenders please Mr Ashton |
