Thank goodness for Walton. Without him we would be much lower in this league. A superb stop in the second half. Burgess looked assured, as did Woolfy and Donny. Penny only managed a half and looked okay overall. Morsy is so solid in the middle, a real fighter in every sense. Backinson again okay, we miss Evans. Burns creates so many chances, does not seem to attack as much as he did at the start of the season. Chaplin was a joy to watch last night, gets himself about and creates so much. Bonne looked lost at times again, creates very little. Celina again was his usual self and got about a bit even defends more now. |

extremely happy with the result. Still think the left side is our weak side. Edwards was not really in the game and Celina looked lost when he came on. The right with Aluko and Burns coming on was much stronger. Could have been their players were stronger in the opposition also but wonder what Aluko and Burns o each wing would bring. Donacian looks stronger than Penney both at the back and going forwards. Back middle two only look scary when pulled apart by the wide two moving up, which means Evans or Morsy has to drop back to the middle of defence to pick up the ball, which for me is to deep to push on. Evans sprays the balls wide every time. Bonne worked hard with no reward to day and Chaplin deserved the superbly taken goal which I think surprised everyone except him. |

We cannot beat 4th from bottom. At least Evans will save some money next year. We will only need to open 3 sides of the stadium and mothball the 4th as we will not need more than about 10,000 seats next year. Because when we lose our quality players in the summer and recruit more dross to maintain our league 1 position, and not progress for another year this is progress under Evans and all part of the 5 year plan to nowhere. |
