McKenna Named Championship Manager of the Season
at 20:13:40

Only wish Vas was in there instead of the Leicester keeper who gifted us a point at their place. He had one thing to do and he messed it up.

Martin: We Were the Best Team, We Didn't Deserve to Lose
at 09:45:38

Ref knows that Leif is a left footed player - he saw him crash one into the net in the first half from exactly the same angle - who won't turn on to his right foot and be covered by the central defender. Red card all day long.

And the crowd shouting 'off, off' in his ear, was just the icing on the cake.

Eustace: I Think We've Been Hard Done By
at 22:39:21

This guy should still be the BCFC manager. Money ruining football, had them near the playoffs. Today needs to ask himself why his team were outplayed early in the game. He should bang on about the half empty ground too. Would have been a harder game for us with a full stadium. Fortunately these guys don't do their homework, unlike our manager. Plus no 12.30pm kickoff to damage our preparation.

McKenna: No New Injury Problems Ahead of Swansea Trip
at 10:46:50

Agree, we need to learn the lesson of wasting a year's loan fee and percentage of wages on a top club's problem child.

But I still hope he comes back and wins us points as in his determination to get the equaliser at Hudds. And the marauding right wing run and finish into the bottom corner at PR won over most of us.

He'd be a walking red card up the A140 though.

Williams Remains at Town

Natural High, what a great album that was from The Commodores. Included the songs Flying High (on a Feeling), and Three Times A Lady. That gives my age away. Glad I didn't grow up in the Legal High era. So many temptations nowadays for those with money and time on their side.

McKenna: Credit to Maidstone, a Horrible Game to Lose
at 22:24:28

None of you has made the most important point.
We conceded from 100% of the chances we afforded, 2 chances, 2 goals.
Defence went missing, the high line, ball over the top. Too many changes.
TV commentators called it.
Interview with the first goalscorer: the goalkeeper coming out made my mind up for me. There was a similar goal v Fulham.
Mckenna a few weeks ago": the squad is cast in stone". Stupid thing to say.
Walton shouldve been gone and Hladky, the best goalkeeper in the country, given a new contract to stop speculation we might lose him to Celtic. Why isn't Slicker our regular backup keeper by now? Can't understand what I'm seeing unless Mckenna is not strong enough to make decisions. He's sent back Williams who could be someone if well managed could be in the first eleven that drives us to the Premier league. Looking at the drop off, I'd say we'll still be in the Championship this time next season but lower half or fighting relegation, but still will have mckenna as manager.
You have to be good enough to get past timewasting non leaguers and a waster of a referee.
Only good decision he's made is get rid of Ladapo, more interested in cupping his ear to our supporters than working his socks off.

Morsy: You Feel Like You've Let the Fans Down
at 16:55:44

Why o why 'rest' the best goalkeeper/sweeper in the league? In the country. We're not ruthless enough. Just let them have two shots and score both. Meaningless interview. Yet some idiots on this site have been saying they want Walton back in the team, did you not see Charlton 4 - 4 and Fulham games? Walton looks like he'll never play at a good level again, needs a move away which I said after Fulham but too late for that now. McKenna will never make a top manager unless he gets a ruthless streak..

Former Blues Boss Hurst Returns to Shrewsbury
at 18:05:55

The meltdown interview he gave after Exeter away in the League Cup.

Throwing players under the bus for not wanting to turn up to a game Mick would have played the kids in.

Legacy of Mick's team, I'm afraid it was always going to be difficult. Easy to say that now, but not so obvious at the time.

We needed a better manager who could've recruited players from a higher level. Money and ambition wasn't there.

Dewsbury-Hall a Doubt For Town's Leicester Visit
at 14:39:35

Ballard dive, so, a defender diving in his own penalty area to gain an advantage - great point - should've been a penalty to us. The referee bought the dive, so they'll all keep doing it and getting away with it. Referees too scared to do anything about it.

Those who remember Ask the Referee from Shoot magazine can hardly recognize football nowadays, it's changed so much (for the worse) in 50 years. It never crossed anyone's mind that players would even think of cheating in this way.

Blues Linked With Moore Loan Return
at 18:56:24

Probably as good an option as we have, which says a lot about transfer fees strikers attract, and means having to look at loans.

I think he would get games for us as a starter if we don't manage to land a better option later in the window.

But has no skill, is slow, and is very one footed. We couldn't guarantee him minutes.

May be best if it doesn't happen.

And we a clean team get more yellows than O'Nien's team.
Couldn't make it up. WHAT IS THE REF ON. ? Cheating has wrecked football and referees scared to give anything.
But, get in.

Hirst Surgery Successful as Striker Search Continues
at 16:26:07

Also saying, get off Jackson's back, too. Couldn't be clearer. I've supported this club for a long time through some good but also some difficult times, and it fills me with despair that any of our supporters would just have an agenda to boo or curse any of our players for not being good enough. Kieran McKenna wouldn't be mentioning this so much if it wasn't causing him significant man management problems.

McKenna: We Know the Owners Will Support Us If We Find a Suitable Player
at 18:20:34

Hard to attract players if they have the Sky opinion that we will be mid table before long.
Where he says this: "it's not always easy to… not convince, that's the wrong word, but externally it's hard for anyone to have that conviction. I think that's normal"
I think he means we won't be bringing many, if any, in. Or playing down expectations, so, there will be a striker in loan to replace Dane Scarlett. That's already signalled.
It will be one out, one in.
He would need to find buyers for squad players who don't want to leave, before we can go out and buy.
