Ordered my first ever season ticket!
at 11:19 16 Apr 2022

Sorry, but I have to tell people who may be interested. As none of my friends or family are that bothered.
At the age of 50+ I have finally ordered my first ever season ticket!
I left East Anglia when I was 18 and have never lived close enough to justify the expense. I have wanted to be a Town season ticket holder since I was a kid.
I still don't live close (I'm in Gloucestershire) but due to a change of job, I can now justify the expense, even if I don't make every game (midweek fixtures are unlikely). In fact it would probably work out cheaper for me to pay for each match I attend, but the sounds coming out of the club make we want to be a part of what will hopefully be an exciting ride.
Quite a small event for most, but for me, this is a bucket list item completed.

Not seen this mentioned elsewhere. Just received a notification that the U18 cup tie against Southend is live on the club’s Facebook page.
Teams are warming up now.

I have a spare ticket for the Bristol Rovers game if anybody wants it.
Selling for face value (£22) it is for the uncovered visitors terrace. Will send first class post to make sure it is received in time for the game.
Drop me a PM if interested.

Cheers.

So ashamed of my extended family
at 21:28 6 May 2019

I am devastated!

I have just been informed by my wife that her Uncle was the driver for the bus that took the Norwich team on their open top bus bus parade today.

Considering that she was born in Leicester and has lived most her life in the Forest of Dean, this comes as a bit of a shock.

Is this reasonable grounds for divorce?

Bristol tickets on the door?
at 20:45 10 Mar 2019

Just realised that I should be able to make the Bristol City match on Tuesday, however, I don't yet have a ticket. Does anybody know if I am able to pay on the door for this much as I guess it is probably too late to get one through the club.

Cheers!

London Veggie Restaurant
at 08:00 6 Sep 2018

As I know a lot on here have good knowledge of London, I ask you for some advice on a good London restaurant.

My wife and I are going for a few days in London in a couple of weeks, and this just happens to coincide with our first wedding anniversary. My wife is a vegetarian (well, a pescatarian to be precise as she eats fish) and I would like to take her somewhere a little special for a meal.
I am very conscious that when we go to 'normal' restaurants, the vegetarian options are usually somewhat limited, so my plan is to take her to somewhere that caters specifically for veggies.

We will be staying close to Tower Bridge, but obviously we will have plenty of time and public transport, so it is no great hardship to travel somewhere. There are no real cost limitations, as long as the food is good.

I would appreciate any advice.

Many thanks.
