Cook: We Fully Deserved Something Out of the Game
at 18:40:20

If we played as well as has been suggested and just didn't take our chances, I don't think you can heap too much blame on Cook.

Disappointing but not disastrous. Long way to go.

Lankester Could Miss Blues Reunion
at 12:51:09

His injury record is the only real reason I'm not too upset that we let him go.

On quality alone he is good enough for this level.

Lambert: I Left the Club in a More Than Decent Place
at 18:46:28

Frankly, he's not far wrong.

The squad he had was rubbish, and always was. People see that now, many couldn't for a long time and for some reason felt we had the right to win the league at a canter. Blinded by their dislike of the manager a lot of them.

PNE Boss Neil: Harrop is Talented But Needs to Go and Play Games
at 19:34:42

We didn't develop the likes of Stewart, McGreal, Reuser etc. We recruited them because they were good players. Harrop is different because he's unlikely to be a permanent signing but the point remains that if he improves the team and help us reach our goal, then good.

Donacien: Ref Said McGuinness Put in Pompey's Controversial Winner

One could say this interview suggests all is well in the camp, considering that Donacien has been pretty much as frozen out as one can be in terms of league football.

Baffles you to think up until now he's barely been given a start on the left hand side of midfield/attack, by Lambert or Hurst if memory serves.

Donation From Town Face Masks to NHS
at 08:33:29

It's not as if it's something that they've sold before that they've racked up the price of. They will have spent money acquiring them. As I've already got a mask I won't be buying, but I don't think this should be made into some kind of moral issue.

Redknapp Claims Lampard Was Offered Town Job
at 12:22:40

Astounding that we continue to hear that Evans' recruitment process consists of phone calls with Harry Redknapp. However impressive Lampard was/is, and I'd love to have had him here, Evans should have been making that decision himself.

Delaney: Keane Would Destroy Me After Games But Still Picked Me
at 23:34:38

Keane, while probably not helped by Clegg, inherited a good squad full of decent pros and half decent youngsters including Wickham, Rhodes and Garvan. He thought he was best off dismantling it.

Considering the circumstances he took over in, i.e the easiest of all the managers during the last decade, he's the worst of the lot. He had the fans well onside, PR almost full for his first game, Evans still new into the job and offering money to spend, a good squad.

The defensive partnership formed between Delaney and McAuley was his best achievement, and it brought about a few clean sheets. Sadly it often brought about a lack of goals at the other end too.

Re: Delaney, I always felt he was harshly treated and underrated by fans. Left back didn't suit him from day one, but with GMac he was pretty solid bar the odd mistake as he mentions. Criminal that we let him leave for nothing in August 2012, especially as it left us so bare in defence (Jewell's fault that one).

Garbutt: Everything is Complicated
at 13:13:17

For his delivery and quality on the ball, I think there's an argument that Garbutt has underachieved. But he's still scored six goals from full/wing back so you can't grumble too much.

I'd like a full time left back to be brought in when possible but I'd happily take Garbutt too, it's just a case of nailing down a position. He's probably best in a Tabb type left midfield role.

My Best Town XI: David McGoldrick
at 00:19:34

I loved Edwards as a wing back but Stearman was genuinely brilliant in 2012/13. Maybe Kieron doesn't remember this time very well but he deserves his place in an already attacking team.

McCarthy: I Should Have Left Town Earlier
at 10:22:30

Interested to know how he defines 'earlier'. Does he mean he should have left when it was announced he wouldn't be staying beyond the end of the season, or does he mean a year earlier? The latter for me. 2016/17 was a poor year rescued by Tom Lawrence.
