|Evans Joint-188th in Rich List|
Seriously, only a complete moron with no love of this club would want Evans to continue his disastrous reign over this club. A ridiculous suggestion that nobody would buy it, every club finds a buyer at the right price.

Anybody else feeling p*ssed off with the snowflakes that hounded MM out of this club?

You can blame the players and blame the manager all you like, but there is one single factor that dominates this ten year slide into obscurity - Marcus Evans. But, of course, its just easier to berate players and replace managers.

At first glance I read these comments and thought we were being trolled by away fans.
But, No, it is our very own 'supporters' spewing out this negative bile.
Nothing changes on here then....

Jeeesus, All hail Marcus Evans? I don't bloody think so....
He has driven this club into the ground since he arrived, failed to support it financially, mismanaged it, refused to engage with fans and as a result we are dropping down the football league like a stone. Just because we beat the beleaguered Bolton schoolboys last weekend doesn't suddenly mean we are on the path to eternal victory. Any recent success is almost entirely down to Paul Lambert, acting not only as manager but also taking up the slack from Evans anonymous role as club boss by doing all he can to bring the supporters back on side.
He could so easily leave us in a similar predicament.
As far as I am aware all debt still sits on the books of ITFC making it effectively worthless, particularly as the club does not own the ground. He was always hoping to make a quick buck by getting us to the prem and selling it on at a profit. That has gone disastrously. Once he is bored and we have dropped further he could walk away without choosing to write off the debt and we too would be facing potential liquidation.

"If Evans goes who is going to buy Ipswich?"
This is the lamest question that the Evans apologists continually stand behind. Of course it cant be answered specifically but lets look at it a little more generally. Stick any club, house, bicycle, whatever up for sale and it will sell at the price the market determines as fair. Every single other club in all football leagues has an owner, so obviously we will find one. Clearly Evans can not expect to turn a profit on a club that was at the top of end of the championship which has been woefully underfunded for 10 years and is now languishing in a state of terminal decline in a lower league and can not beat Luton's reserves. He bought it cheap as a punt in the hope of getting to the prem and making a profit. That gamble has gone disastrously wrong and now is the time he should hold his hands up and admit failure.
