However depressing and frustrating the current plight is for us as fans , we have no fundamental financial investment at stake. It strikes me that the financial cliff that our owner and his flunkies seem intent on driving the club over has potentially disastrous implications for dozens of lower level club employees who will inevitably get caught up in any cost cutting that will result from season ticket sales plummeting.
We've been there before of course but no less distressing for those involved. |
