I will undoubtedly get lots of down votes for this as I am living in the past. After years of convincing my son to follow Ipswich, I sent him this message....
'I am so sorry that I have inflicted this awful team on you. I remember being 14 and dancing around my bedroom after we beat St. Etienne 4-1 away. This was a team that had never lost at home in Europe, yet we annihilated them . Move forward 40 years and we have lost away at Burton Albion. I don't even know where Burton is!!!!!' |

Irrespective of the standard of football Guy has been playing, from the video footage he clearly demonstrates; ability, touch, positioning, poacher instinct and set piece ability. I think that he would be a great addition to our team. I just hope that it happens

What really frustrates me is that I paid £10 to watch that game. I appreciate that my money goes towards supporting the club that I have loved for over 40 years and I don't mind that if we had put up some kind of display. But, what really annoys me is the fact that the players were laughing after an appalling defeat. Yes, my £10 does not go far but it makes me feel like they are just sticking a finger up to me. |
