DEMOLITION MAN - 18 OUT
at 23:05 10 May 2021
My take on today's developments:
The 8 senior players released: Chambers, Skuse,Sears, Huws, Wilson, Nydam, Judge and Ward are mainly over 30 and injury prone, with the obvious exception of Chambers who stayed remarkably fit throughout his career at PR.
Add on the 5 loanees makes 13, plus Przybek, Wright and Cotter is 16.
From the coaching staff Gill and Walker have departed and that's 18 out of the door. No doubt other, younger players will go and that will nudge the number to over 20. I am guessing the seniors were the big wage owners too.
The surprising thing for me is that the group that Paul Hurst acquired is still pretty much intact, with Ellis Harrison the only departing player, although Edwards may still go.
FEEL GOOD FACTOR

Let's hope the club gets it right with a huge order for the home shirts so we don't run out in August. Ed Sheeran's sponsorship is terrific news.
Last Friday I was enthused by the Youth Team winning their quarter final tie and the ongoing transformation of the club by the new owners is cheering too.
It seems strange to have a feel good factor after such an abysmal season but hopefully this is the TURNING POINT after 13-14 years of sad decline.

"The club is finally getting some infrastructure. It's been crying out for it for a long time"
14 years I would say. The Marcus Evans era.

Is James Norwood going to play today and last more than 45 minutes?

KVY suffered a hamstring injury yesterday. No surprise really.
Birmingham Mail says Lambert must go
at 09:54 19 Feb 2021
Just google that to see what the Midlands paper was saying about Lambert in 2015.
Also see Jacqui Oatley's tweet the other day about Lambert's failure at Wolves. No doubt the Blackburn and Stoke media said much the same.
It's a litany of failure since he left Carrot Road, so why on earth would this guy be paid half a million pounds a year to fail here? Why on earth was he "rewarded" with a five year contract?
It's just unfathomable! He conned much of the fanbase and he cleary conned Evans too.

If not why not??????
This is like a long running soap opera which should have ended ages ago but is dragged out to the very bitter end.
Put us out of our misery............please.
Mysterious dark force

So who or what is responsible for the woes of Ipswich Town according to Paul Lambert??
Is it Evans? He implies it is and then back tracks.
Is it Sheepshanks? Brian Klug? The tea ladies? Some mysterious Dark Force??
Come out with and tell us Paul! It's all very vague and wishy washy.
Classic diversionary tactics of course, trying to avoid responsibility for the current catastrophe of a season. After all, he did play for CELTIC and DORTMUND!WOW! WE HAVE ALL LEARNED SOMETHING NEW. What the hell is his playing career got to do with it?
Paul Lambert Poster

If anyone is interested in a bargain the Paul Lambert poster on the itfcshop.com/souvenirs pages has been reduced from £6 to £2 in a clearance sale.
Don't all rush at once!

A once truly great football club destroyed by imbeciles.
Bobby Robson's legacy, flushed down the pan by the same incompetent people.
We are now a sick club and a laughing stock.

Under the very difficult current circumstances we find ourselves in what Jackson did tonight was reckless in the extreme, after just 10 minutes. What an idiot.
Get rid of him. Always injured and mostly useless. Another Paul Hurst master stroke.
