Came on straight after Half Time tonight for u23s and still came out as best player. I know we have KVY now but he actually came on at RCB in a back 5 while Crowe stayed at RWB. Surprised he didn’t join Drinan on loan at that club he trialled for.
Paul Hurst has managed to find himself in the one and only relegation spot from

Assume he can’t feature in the leasing.com trophy against Spurs then? He is on a lease here after all
Been a lot of talk about the injuries

Lambert may have stumbled on a winning formula partly by default. I like how a few of that starting line up were out on loan last season and have come back.

Both could still have a future at the club I imagine?
Downes has seen a psychologist already about this

I remember him saying he used to get sent off or carded quite often for the under 23s
Paul Lambert never has a striker on the bench when starting 2 strikers

Seem to remember ending up with no striker on the pitch at times last season
Cotter & Crowe

Both seem like promising right backs, wonder if they’ll overtake Emmanuel at some point?

How much did we pay for him again? I seem to remember it being named as a ‘nominal’ fee? Really don’t understand why so many people find QPRs bids so low.
As for Brentford, they normally do good business so i’d imagine they were aware they will receive a sell-on fee if he moves. More money for them this summer lol.
Well if there’s anything to learn from the German cup

It has to be that 2/3 up front is needed right? 4-1-4-1 / 4-2-3-1 needs to be converted to 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 surely ? Those 4-5-1 variations rarely work for us.
Regarding the defence, is the 4 at the back an issue? Maybe we need to go to a 3 or a 5

Don’t get me wrong, Kenlock is a decent player, but i’ve seen Webber play a lot both at Braintree and at u23s and honestly think he has the better chance to make that left back slot his own

See he was involved with the u23s again, anyone know if he’s still on trial or signed a deal? Saw him play a game at Portman Road end of last season against Birmingham and had something about him.
