Most of Rhodes goals last season came against the bottom half of the league, and was left on the bench in the playoff's. Great player, no doubts there but doesn't always cut it against the better players. Was always a shame to lose him. As for Proctor, we lost Connor, may as well give another youngster a punt and Jewell seems to know his game rather better than some though, he brings the best out of people. E.g Scotland, so lets give it a shot. |

Isn't rory fallon pretty much jon stead, except jon stead's first touch was better ( even though it was poor) was good in the air, worked his socks off and actually scored goals while setting up others. The players lack passion and many don't play for the shirt just themselves. McCauley and Norris both play for their shirt and apart from that no one else. Keane keeps cropping up with these statements but honestly have you seen any change since the time oh Jim Magilton. Millions have be spent on waste of space Irish players and Sunderland rejects. Good decision, if he doesn't want to be part of the team then he doesn't deserve to be captain of it. Hard worker no doubt but won't be a huge loss in terms of quality. Much better players on their way hopefully, it is a shame that football has turned into a money game, especially when you look back on the game in the 60's and 70's. would be aloos, but not a huge one. The long ball game has become ridiculous, all we do is punt it down field hoping he'll get on the end of it, we don't play football when he's out on the right. He also offers no width, he comes infield all game long offering nothing down the right wing which is why david wright pushed forward so much. Up front he doesn't have much to offer, a good head and a bit of strength. But you can't falter the shift he puts in, if we could get something between £1 to £2 mil for him that would be good business, as long as we buy in a good winger and a striker. |

don't feel walters is a good wide man anymore, he was when he first came but now no where near what we expect. On saturday get coming in field almost a RM instead of RW, we miss Haynes out on the right with pace a strength. Possibly Lee Martin or give Edwards another shot. |

It's people like you ChambersM that cause clubs to sack a manager every 5 minutes, as soon as fans start pressuring the owner managers loose their jobs. Keane's a good manager, we saw this with Sunderland only a few years ago, also he didn't really have much to work with when he first came here. Jim had invested in some quite awful players, his best buys were probably Walters and Norris. Next season things will turn around, Keane's a good manager, give him time, give him a chance and we'll get results lets not turn into QPR!! |

Doesn't this just prove a point, he's a good player, but fans didn't get behind him, as soon as he starts scoring, we're all for him. Maybe people should welcome players and actually cheer them on instead of pushing them away. Was rather annoyed when he went out on loan, still needed him at the club. |
