| News Comment | Ismael Disappointed to Lose 50/50 Game at 15:32:21
I’d certainly be disappointed to lose that as a Watford fan, but that’s exactly why we play a high press. Forced the mistake, won the game. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 3-2 Swansea City - Extended Highlights at 16:18:02
I don’t think these highlights truly reflect how dominant Ipswich were in this game. As far as chances, and certainly xG, we underachieved and they overachieved. Could have, maybe should have been 5-1, but it ends 3-2 somehow. |
| News Comment | Schumacher Fuming Over "Huge Turning Point" at 20:44:28
I thought every decision prior to that ‘pivotal’ one had gone their way. Regardless, it makes a change for us to be on the right side of a seemingly wrong decision. How many have we been owed over the last few seasons! |
| News Comment | Duo in Team of the Week at 15:12:06
Why is Travers on there? As much as we had plenty of shots, I don’t recall anything spectacular. The only great of the game came from Hdlaky! |
| News Comment | Wrexham Striker Launches Bizarre Sheeran Attack at 11:11:32
Imagine this being your profession, and you getting a public platform to speak on matters relating to your profession, only to get it THIS wrong. I'm sure a public apology isn't far away... |
| News Comment | Referee For Charlton Match a Sheffield Wednesday Supporter at 10:30:25
In my opinion, articles like this actually turn this into a positive for us. Now that this info is publicly known, the ref is going to know he can't award any dubious decisions against us that would benefit Wednesday as it would be career suicide. This may end up being our silver bullet! |
| News Comment | Warne: Disallowed Goal a Massive Turning Point at 09:58:12
I don't see how anyone here can possibly argue that the Derby goal was rightfully disallowed. McGoldrick doesn't do any more than briefly stand in-front of Walton. It was a let off for us, but christ have we been owed one of those decisions for a long time! To even it out, the ref turned away a stone-wall penalty for us. But Warne is right, had the Derby goal been allowed - who knows what the result would have been. |
| News Comment | FA Release Written Reasons For Owls' Wing-Back Johnson's Ban at 17:02:53
Who'd have thought it was possible to appeal and not get an extension on the ban! Does anybody remember that completely ridiculous red card Nsiala got against, of all opponents, Wednesday? He was favourite for the ball, slides and wins it, then Forestieri purposefully 'hangs a leg' so Nsiala would make contact with him, gets him sent off. It was ludicrous. We appeal and the ban got extended to 4 games. |
| News Comment | Commentator Woolley Celebrating 20 Years on Mic at 12:08:48
I've always liked Brenner's commentary. The season that iFollow forced you to listen to the home commentary really put into perspective how good Brenner is. He does a great job of voicing neutral views of the game while also quite obviously being a fan of Town. I actually find this season's iFollow commentary to infuriate me. I'm glad that they've stopped referring to Ipswich as 'The Super Blues' every couple of minutes, as much as it has been used for decades - it feels way too generic like we couldn't think of a better name! Thanks to David Sheepshanks, we do have a much better nickname these days! |
