| News Comment | Portman Road to Go Cashless at 21:55:43
People love a moan don't they... Those that are leaving negative comments here will no doubt be the same ones moaning that they can't get a beer at half time or that the fanzone queues are too long |
| News Comment | O'Neill: One Or Two Deadline Day Loan Offers But Not Right For Us at 21:30:14
Never understood why people take stories like this as an opportunity to have a pop at LON. These are such nothing comments, absolute non story, yet all these unnecessary comments! Might not agree with how the club is run but some of this is just nonsense |
| News Comment | Duo Linked With Donacien at 18:59:10
Ultimately if we're in this league next year our squad needs to be reduced by around 7-10 senior players/over 21's (can't remember exact numbers). I think it's only sensible to be planning for another L1 campaign given the league position currently and the uncertainty over Covid currently. Also if we did go up, JD would no doubt be sold anyway so seems logical |
| News Comment | Pompey Ballot Emails to Arrive This Evening at 20:17:53
Give it a rest SouperJim. I'm sure the club aren't on the wind-up and instead are probably working extremely hard behind the scenes to get all of this organised. Does it really matter if emails are received yesterday, today or tomorrow? |
| News Comment | Skuse Out for Three Or Four Months at 22:13:07
@Ronny - Not sure if someones on the wind up? Either they've spelt Huws wrong or are suggesting we play Tommy Hughes who I don't believe has ever even featured on the bench for the first team in a competitive game (possibly the EFL Cup last season) |
| News Comment | Blues to Travel to Blackpool Next Saturday at 15:16:22
Before the next bandwagon rolls through town, this was pre-agreed before the MK Dons game, at which type Jackson, Judge and Woolfy were coming back from injury, Norwood was fit alongside Downes and Ward |
| News Comment | Lambert: We Were a Bit Below But Showed Great Resilience at 13:52:24
Never going to play scintillating football every game. Some games will be turned into a scrap and to dig in and not lose can only be positive. Agree entirely with Sindre. Lambert makes changes too early, people moan that it's too quick. Too late and people moan that the changes were required sooner. We all lauded the changes at Bristol Rovers and things just didn't go our way today. Take the point, keep the faith and move on |
| News Comment | Lambert: We Deserved to Win at 11:11:01
Absolutely right Edmundo. I made this point last week and I think it's a real shame that some people on here find it difficult to enjoy winning and give praise. Then we wonder why the players confidence is knocked. So few comments on this thread in comparison to when we lose it's laughable. Anyway, the lads were great today. Hawkins up top absolutely top class, held the ball up well and brought others in to play, exactly what you want from him although possibly should have had one or two himself. Toto proving us all wrong, another good game for the midfield, Doz in particular with some more exceptional passing. My final word goes to Tomas Holy though. 3 clean sheets in a row. Not had too many saves to make in any games but he's stepped up when needed. We all know saves can be more difficult when keepers are having a quiet game so hats off TH, keep it up. |
| News Comment | El Mizouni Rejoins Cambridge United on Loan at 20:16:48
Great move. Regular games in a good L2 team will give him a great platform to kick on with us next year. Never going to get consistent minutes with us this year given who is ahead of him, makes a lot of sense |
| News Comment | Lambert: We Raised the Intensity in the Second Half at 20:18:36
Always find it surprisingly odd and a real shame how few comments are written on these articles when we win. It seems we all want to kick the boys when they're down yet offer little praise when they play well. It's clear from recent comments in the media that players see some things that are written about them, whether that's on here, social media or in the wider press. We want our boys to continue performing on the pitch... as fans we have a part to play too. COYB |
| News Comment | Lambert Keen for Dobra, El Mizouni and McGavin to Go Out on Loan at 15:17:15
Think this makes sense. Like others have said, all 3 are playing in positions where there's a lot of competition for places. Yes they might play the odd game or get 20 minutes off the bench here and there but they're much better starting in L2 week in week out against big, hairy arsed blokes. They'll be better players for it |
| News Comment | Lambert: Downes Faces Fight to Get in Team at 11:15:06
I actually really like this attitude from Lambert. Lots will think Flynn has a divine right to be in this team based on ability. However, we wanted less rotation from PL this year. Lambert has been man enough to admit his mistakes from last year and told players to 'keep the shirt'. Based on the last two games, Bish and Doz have been fantastic and Nolan scored against Arsenal and therefore deserves his chance too. Cant knock Lambert for sticking to the principles he laid out a few weeks ago, ones that we all wanted from him |
| News Comment | McGavin Signs New Deal at 21:13:41
Think Brett needs to get out on loan this year. He has a big future but a year playing first team football in the national league would surely do him the power of good |
