| Forum Thread | Single Ticket for Sheffield Wednesday Game at 12:34 11 Mar 2024
Hi, wonder if anyone knows of a single spare ticket for Saturday, I live in Dubai after being a season ticket holder for around 25 years, and am back in UK for a week. Would love to get the chance to go to the game. Thanks Julian |

I would suspect that the press will be briefed and told that no questions to be asked about the takeover, but agree with your point, i was actually thinking yesterday that this presser may be a bit tricky for Paul Cook when it comes to the takeover questions....... |

Perhaps someone could show the judge how the dirty little northern B**tards behaved in the playoff semi final.!! Personally hope they survive, sure they will go into free-fall and be an easy 6 points next season. If not they will likely be starting on -21 points. 12 for admin and 9 for not completing there fixtures this year. |

Essentially the club are in the best position, If you take average cost of 350 a season ticket across the board, last year they sold 10200 which is 3.57 million revenue. This year take an average of 15% less which is 300 a ticket and already sold 11,800 is 3.54 million, so essentially the same income but more bums on seats and more revenue from programs catering etc etc. To give the 10% discount actually puts them worse off and I am sure the club will see that the current sales is an excellent achievement. Personally i feel the club have handled this very well and credit to them. Roll on next season.. PS anyone know what the pricing is for ifollow for a league one club? |

I am interested in how we have all taken to Paul Lambert and in particular is passion and enthusiasm for the club, fans and generally Ipswich town. His touchline manner clearly gives the players an extra level and encouragement. Does anyone know if he was equally as enthusiastic at any of his previews clubs. Was hi like this and were his comments similar when he was at Norwich or any of his previous clubs. For me whatever happens I hope he stays and has been exactly what we needed. Wish we would of had him instead of Hurst, but i fear had we not of experienced PH then it would of been difficult for him to be accepted here. His first press conference for me was absolutely key in winning across supporters - stroke of genius, or indeed planned help from some experts who advised him what to say. In anycase i am certain we have the right an to rebuild our much loved club. |

Sadly having lived in the Middle east for 4 years this is not just true of Qatar, but any wealthy middle east country. Its a different world and thats how its lived. There is a lot wrong with europe USA etc which the middle east think is bizarre. |
