| News Comment | McKenna: No One's Getting Carried Away at 20:26:23
Flamencaman Barnsley had a 12th man, Steve Martin the useless ref who hadn't got a scooby. It seems whilst we are languishing in this league, we will have the dross of the officials available from the FA. |
| News Comment | Camara Signing Confirmed at 19:36:40
At last, a player that can kick with both feet. Looks good on the VT playback. |
| News Comment | Keogh: It Was Worth the Wait at 13:01:39
I was pleased to see Richard on the field last night and he didn't disappoint, I thought he brought the right measure of experience to our game that will help the whole team throughout the season. Very pleased he's now home at the right club. |
| News Comment | Sears, Wilson, Huws and Nydam Released at 18:51:48
I may be wrong but many of us questions why Nydam is on the list as we possibly judge him ahead of many of the team, but it's true to say that the whole team including Nydam; are not up to the standards required for Cook's team. I don't see this as a negative, I see this as a positive, it's just that the bar has been so low at Ipswich we've been condition to accept mediocre players as good. Trust in Cook's assessment. |
| News Comment | Cook Set to Meet Players as Big Name Departures Expected at 12:58:35
Despite any rules the FA lay down about talking to players during the season, I would think that Paul Cook as already identified many of the players he wants and has made inroads into discussions with their agents. It's totally against the rules but lets not be naive in thinking it doesn't happen. |
| News Comment | Roberts: I’m Really Excited For Next Season at 16:32:57
Thank God the seasons over, am so looking forward to next season already. This is my first comment in 3 years as I vowed I would not say anything until Evans was out of our beloved ITFC. Joined the Evans out of ITFC group on facebook and did a bit of protesting. Pleased we finished with a good win and would like to say thanks for the efforts the leaving players have put in, it wasn't always your fault when things went wrong. so COYB's for next season and hope we'll be able to field a team with passion. |
| News Comment | Milne: Manager Search Well Under Way But Be Patient With Us at 22:52:20
I haven't commented on this site for a couple of reasons, firstly that Evans doesn't really seem to want to invest heavily enough for us to push onward; and secondly because I forgot my password. However, password regained I would like to say this. When Town played Derby away just as McLaren hadn't officially taken over but was in the ground. We were 4-0 up at half time and McLaren went into to see the Derby lads with the result that we drew 4 - 4. I haven't forgotten that. Something to ponder on. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Confirms Diagouraga Loan and Taylor Set to Train With Town at 18:04:30
I haven't been on here for some time as I vowed not to comment until both Evans and McCarthy has left OUR beloved club. But it seems that neither are going so along with many suggesting a boycott of the next HOME game, which I never ever thought would happen to ITFC; I think it's time we did protest. I will go further in saying we need to try and attract a new buyer, someone that will invest and listen to the supporters. So here's an idea. It seems we will have to join the many clubs in the top two divisions that are owned with foreign investment. So people, WRITE to as many CEO Billionaires in China,Russia, America in an attempt to find a decent buyer that will invest and grow to love the club as we all do. Drastic times call for drastic measures. |

| News Comment | U21s Draw With Wednesday at 22:39:48
I was there tonight and was a little disappointed in Collison. I thought he looked only to pass either back or a square ball. He picked up a little in the second half and played a few forward balls but as budgieplucker has said, he did not stand out. Both he and Ambrose were guilty of school boy errors in going for the same ball on occasions. Mings looked all at sea at times and this was the worst performance I've seen from him. One factor was the appalling weather during the first half, which may explain why nobody seemed to stand out. All in all, we do need to start to spot talent elswhere and I too question the quality of our scouts. |
| News Comment | Millwall Set to Sign Webster at 14:17:40
I hope we stand dealing soon, my expectations are growing by the day; however I agree with most that our central defense is OK. WE do however need a right back, I love Chambers to bits and would not want to lose him; but he's playing out of position as R/B. WE definately need a R/B, plus a goalie, plus a winger or two. I just wish they would HURRY UP and get some. The world and it's wife is signing players and I know there is a ways to go to the start, but I would like to see a new blue, sooooonnn!!!!! |
| News Comment | New Home Kit Launched at 17:34:05
Boring.....just boring. So similar to every other adidas club that plays in blue. As to fans moaning about ME's logo, remember without him we would be totally in the smelly stuff; so I for one do not have a problem with his logo on the shirt. It's a Chelsea top and totally rubbish. Like many fans also commenting on the frequency of change, I shouldn't worry about it as each season's shirt will look the same with Adidas. Once again..............................VERY BORING!!!!!!! |
| News Comment | The Kit’s Out the Bag at 16:47:33
How much different is it to Chelsea's current kit, other than the colour? If we have the same shirt but blue for home kit, it will be a near replica of the 2013/14 Chelsea kit. BORING SO BL**DY BORING. |
| News Comment | The Kit’s Out the Bag at 16:40:34
I've said this time and time again, let the fans design it; they didn't do so bad with the club badge did they? I'll say it again...this is awful. |
| News Comment | The Kit’s Out the Bag at 13:23:08
Bloody awful, we look the same as any other adidas team other than the colour. Don't expect much difference with the home strip other than the colour. Very boring. The current strip might not be high in quality of materials but the design is first class and individual to the Town. |
| News Comment | Town Return to Adidas at 20:50:05
Sorry but quite disappointed with this decision, Adidas kit is so boring with those awful stripes down the arm. Limits the designers to produce a unique kit for us. Always said the club should have allowed the fans to design the kits, as was done with the badge. Still, I suppose as long as it's blue I'll support it. COYB. |
| News Comment | Town Return to Adidas at 19:38:15
Still got the original ones .....but unfortunately they no longer fit. On a serious note, although the quality of Adidas is good, all the strips incorporate the three stripes down the arms; which I find frankly very boring. The current tops basic design is great other than the iron/stick on badges, but would like Adidas to use some of the features of out current home shirt. COYB. |
| News Comment | Connor: Plenty More to Come From Frank at 07:26:46
No amount of coaching will help if you haven't got the natural talent in the first place, sadly Frank's talent is somewhat limited. |
| News Comment | Woody Working Doubly Hard to Get Fit at 13:36:25
This is a concern if he keeps getting ill, he'll always be trying to get fit again afterwards. Have not been impressed with what I have seen as yet, he needs to start producing the goods and sooner rather than later. Jury is still out on Woody, but I can't see him getting there which is such a shame. However, as long as he wears a Town shift; i'll support him. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Millwall Deserved to Win at 01:01:14
I hate to admit that this team isn't good enough, although I shall support them until the cows come home. I have been harping on for months now that ME cannot afford or does not want to put any more money than he has to in to the club. I would not be surprised if he tried to offload us. His refusal to give MM money to buy decent players is a clear indicater that things are far from right at the club, something will happen sooner or later. ME please sell us to a really rich bloke that wants to waste his money on a football team. |
