| News Comment | Fans Urged to Stay Off the Pitch at 17:47:50
Its a stupid debate to get involved in. Those who want to celebrate on the pitch will, and those who don't, won't. There is no bed wetting do gooder that it going to change anyones mind. The emotion of the occasion will provoke an involuntary response either way. We should all embrace the fact we finally could have something to celebrate COYB xx |
| News Comment | Fans Urged to Stay Off the Pitch at 17:33:18
Totally pointless request. People will celebrate on the pitch like fans have done for over 100 years. Especially as we haven't had anything to cheer about for so long. There are no safety concerns. The only pitch invasions to cause safety concerns are when people run into the pitch in protest/beaten/relegated/rivals. This is going to be a one-sided celebration of years of disappointment. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Frustrating But Lots of Good Things in the Performance at 08:29:18
Lets be honest about yesterday, we were shyte. Backwards and sideways passing without a final ball. Laboured strolling about the pitch like they couldn't be bothered. Wycombe were terrible, but apart from Chaplin missing a sitter I don't think we threatened their goal much at all. Aluko again was the best player when he came on, and Burns was totally marked out of the game. Lots of negatives to turn into positives KM, rather than positives to build on. |
| News Comment | McKenna: One of the Best Performances Since I’ve Been Here at 19:56:37
You cannot expect to dominate games in the way we do, not take our chances, and concede with the very first chance the opposition have and then expect to be promoted. It won't happen, end of. Need to think again or sign someone that knows how to create goals and finish. 70 odd percent possession every game and not winning will mean diddly-squat at the end of the season. |
| News Comment | Burton Albion 0-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 08:07:10
Whatever deal Walton is on, rip it up and double it!! If we are to get promoted this season, he will be the main reason. Our defence is making too many errors and we are relying on him to make world-class saves every game. Its early days, but we need to be mindful that in our pursuit of a striker, our defence also needs looking at. |
| News Comment | Bonne: An Honour to Put on the Blue Shirt at 11:53:42
No time for sentiments, we need consistent goalscorers if we are to get out of this league. 1 in every 3 to 4 games isn't good enough. You only have to see that a midfielder was our top goal scorer to see that.....GL though to MB. |
| News Comment | TWTV Special - Jason Dozzell at 12:49:13
I was there too as an 18 year old and went on the pitch at the end to celebrate with Chris Kiwomya. Now my son is also 18!....😳 |
| News Comment | McKenna: Second Half Was a Completely Different Game at 16:16:41
We were crap in the second half. Same as usual, no creativity and no end product. Need to solve this in the summer. It's no use having loads of possession and not troubling the keeper. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Definitely a Step Backwards at 22:45:08
Yep agree bill we got what we deserved. Dont think their keeper was really tested at all. Its something that needs addressing asap. We cant keep dominating games but having no end product. |

Happybeingblue agree entirely. A pathway must exist for those performing well below the first team to be promoted to it when first team players are not. Otherwise what is the point of a squad? What are we waiting for, the next transfer window?? |
