Rotherham United v Ipswich Town Your Report added at 12:24:12
We certainly know how to play teams that are struggling back into form. Still a lot of work to do before we are promotion contenders.

Playing with Carroll in the team feels like we are playing with ten men. He offers very little apart from some neat and tidy passes. Bakinson was starting to look the part and dispite being a defensive midfielder looks more likely to creative something and allows Morsy to get more forward.

Yes grinch you vertually stole what I was going to say. Carroll's been a good player but a succession of injuries have caught up with him he's neat and tidy but offers nothing physically and is too much of a luxury. The more i see of Pigott the more i think he's not fit he looks slow wins nothing in the air and gets knocked off the ball way too easily.

Can't fault the commitment and performance today considering injuries to our key players. Wolfenden was excellent and is now showing greater maturity. But Burgess came in and considering he hadn't played a full game for months gave a MOM performance for me. Morsys injury was crucial .

Must admit was tempted to give Aluko a ten tonight but at times probably took one touch too many when an early ball would have been more beneficial but that would be nit picking. Jacko's now showing the form he showed when he first came remember he scored eleven goals and six assists. His game has improved under McKenna with goals and assists . He's got something our other strikers haven't got pace and mobility which defender's don't like.

We can't keep complaining about teams parking the bus it's no more than team's like Rotherham, Wigan, Sunderland etc have to put up with. We are just not good enough at the moment to break them down. The futures of Bonne and Norwood who seems more intent on kicking the player rather than the ball and will be amazed if he's still at the club next season.

I tend to agree with the ratings for Pigott. He did show some nice touches at times. The thing that bothers me for a big man he wins very little in the air and is knocked off the ball easily. Having said all this i would play him again on Tuesday maybe he's just lacking match sharpness. Lastly you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that Jackson was Mom today.

Morsy showed touches of real class today especially in the first half. One i remember early in the first half he brought the ball down in his own penalty area showing great composure and setting us up on the attack in an instant. Celina was not far behind him always probing for openings. Playing Bakinson in that defensive midfield role has made us look more solid although there was the odd occasion where he got caught in possession. Jackson looked quite lively which is more than you can say about Bonne and Norwood the latter seems to want to kick the player more than the ball.

Walton highest rated marks strange when he had very little to do must be a fans favourite. Thompson best town player for me.

We looked a very good unit against Wycombe at home but haven't really produced that again unless you count Gillingham. McKenna will know deep down that the squad is no where near strong enough to get promotion and is probably using games to have a good look at players. Expect four or five new players next season with some surprise exits.

Ipswich Town v Accrington Stanley Your Report added at 19:05:24
You could see today why Accrington are such a hard team to beat on their own ground. Today we probably picked our smallest team of the season against one of the biggest teams and at times it caused us problems especially from set pieces. McKenna i think will be trying to work on our play when we haven't got the ball. When we have got the ball we are a joy to watch at times. Celina today looked a class above league one and also done his fair share of tracking back. Chaplin was always at the heart of things and McKenna would have been delighted by his work rate too. KVY showed some of the old form we know him for and looked quick and dangerous at times.

I think most fans will be satisfied if the players give their all on the pitch although it was disappointing not to win the game. Not even going to criticise any of the players today probably our most passionate display of the season. Be interesting to see if there is any comings and goings in the January transfer window.

Barrow v Ipswich Town Your Report added at 10:25:54
It was very noticeable on TV how lightweight we looked. Barrow just brushed us aside why do we keep buying these lightweight ball players Chaplin, Fraser, Aluko, Edwards, Celina, Carroll. At times last night i thought Barrow were playing a under fifteens side.

Yes much better today with John Mcgreal showing better tactical awareness than Paul Cook. Not a fan of Norwood but he looks twice the player of Pigott who always looks disinterested to me lacking any fight or passion. Said couple of weeks ago that KVY should be playing left back and Donasien right back which means only making one change instead of two. The season gone on long enough to see that this squad is not strong enough physically or talented enough to get promotion.

Kpblues you can't train a player to kick with both feet you might make a slight improvement but you are born either right or left footed some but very few are two footed. Arnold Murhen was very left footed but a superb player. Unfortunately most of our players at the moment can't kick with either it seems. Looks like a major clear out in the summer again most of our squad looks so lightweight seems to be the Ipswich way sign good little players.

Fantastic attitude shown by Jackson dispite what's being going on. Looks twice the player of Pigott who always looks sorry for himself. Apparently we've got to play two up front to accommodate him what bull .

Chaplin was excellent but got taken off possibly because he worked hard and set an example to the rest of the team that they didn't follow. Clements who looked out of his depth against Rotherham kept getting caught out of position and was responsible for the goal.

Our two main attacking threats were off form today Bonne and Burns which was a big deciding factor. Edwards must be very lucky to be selected ive yet to see any end product to his wing play. I would have Aluko in the side who's more likely to have an impact on the game. Good debut by young Clements who seems to have the knack of finding himself in goal scoring positions.

We've just had a great win away from home against a good physical team unbeaten this season and people still come on here and say we were lucky. When you play away from home against a good side there's always going to be occasions when your under pressure. We won the game because our finishing was more clinical. I do think Paul Cook made a mistake by not playing Burgess from the start against a big physical Wycombe team.

We will need to keep Bonne fit for any chance of promotion. We need to show more commitment and passion not just Bonne otherwise Cambridge will be Another Accrington.
