I rarely comment in here. Today having read the support for Ukraine in here makes me more proud to be a town fan.
I've been married to a Ukrainian for 15 years we have 3 lovely kids that embrace their dual Ipswich/Ukrainian heritage.
It's comforting to know that the major of people don't believe Putin's evil fantasy rationale for this horrific and devastating War.
I don't know when I will see my in laws and extended Ukrainian family again. No chance of getting a visa and no chance they will leave. Just spoke to my 73 year old father on law. He couldn't talk for long he was helping make Molotov cocktails!! He warned me soon after I met him that Russia would attack, I just never thought it would be this bad.

Thread | Today is my son's first visit to Portman Road

My five year old had been crazing me to go to the football for ages. He finally got his wish and is going today...... He might ask me later in life if he really was that naughty as a child that I would punish him in such a way.
However it got me thinking whatever the score, the inevitable outcome whether it be today or over Easter, we drop into League one
I hope he feels the magic that I felt as a kid watching Ipswich and it kindles an love for itfc that will just be a small part in the cog that brings this club back to the heart of the community.
On the other hand he might just, bin off football and demand a playstation and become a Fortnite zombie. |

Firstly the goon commentating on the red button... (made even more annoying because sadly what he says is true, Leeds do knock it around with purpose)
Our lack of composure is so obvious, we can't string 3 passes together. The panic when we get the ball is awful. If just one player could hold the ball and take a little pressure off.
I was so optimistic at the start of this season, a new manager that talked a great game, laying out how he wanted his team to play..... I'm reality what we've got is a group of players the vast majority sadly not good enough, seriously lacking confidence, with no direction and no one capable of taking the game by the scruff of the neck and making a statement for other players to aspire to. |

Could you make the players watch every bit of footage possible of the Beat. Before and after each session between now and Brentford......... In the hope a little bit of his attitude, commitment will inspire then to run through brickwalls like he did everytime he pulled that shirt on.......

Why do we persevere with his aimless longthrows.. No conviction in his throw and no plan of how to utilise it... I'm so happy to be proven wrong today and have Walters on the end of one
