Victor Periea happy to lead Wolves today, a team we were fighting for survival with that fielded 0 British players today. No one talks about this, Ok they had an Irish player... but when they were lead by Englishman Gary O'Neil their star players literally fought with Ipswich staff. So they brought in the Portuguese man to lead the overseas stars and Brazilian midfield to better times. We faced Manchester City with 1 British player and a Spanish manager. We faced Brentford with 2 British players and their Danish manager. We faced Brighton and they had 1 English player Webster who was one of ours!! German manager We really are out of fashion with our British players, British manager and buying new British talent. Do we need more continental players?? Do we need to become more continental or is most of our identity a combination of home grown, acquired British and Irish talent combined with continental? Anyway, I'll be further supporting Forest and Palace with their great progress and British talent, maybe they will both contest the FA Cup how good would that be? Just an observation, its not very woke to point out how little British talent there is being played in the Prem, let alone local players. [Post edited 27 Apr 0:21]

And its stark raving obvious what Ruben Amorum is mising. I would not be surprised at all if they just went all out for Delap. He would have had 2 in the first half where Rasmus Hoijland struggles. Not that I want to lose him, just seems they might be one who come in with a big money offer. Then again they may go for some slight Portuguese No.9 player and thats just fine. We are lucky to have Liam Delap, hes top 5 striker in the league IMHO. |

Discovery+ program. Wondering sat watching it where he might go in Ipswich. Hes had pie mash and liquor by West Ham and hipster Ramen soup in Nottingham. At Spurs hes having the stadium experience (as a Spurs fan) of their high end Marketplace food. The series seems to still be running maybe he will come to Ipswich but what would he have? |
