I see there's a mini beer festival on at The Rumburgh Buck, which is a great pub, but there's a bus replacement on the Halesworth train. Normally I'd stick my bike on the train and cycle from Halesworth station.
Any other ideas/plans? |

I see that the verb "sitting" is in use by the BBC to describe an MP. Much as they use the verb "serving" to describe a police officer.

Won the Lowestoft College 3 a-side indoor football cup in 72 or 73. Our team included Barry Mayhew who was with Ipswich Youths and played for England youths. I think he was from Halesworth.
The team we beat in the final was skippered by my old pal Brian Gallagher (RIP) who founded Waveney Youths FC and also Phil Baldry (RIP) who was a big Ipswich fan and well-known in Lowestoft back in the day. |

I saw Dyer and the boxer chap, but how many extra tickets did this involve? All clubs have discretionary tickets. I think this is a bit of an overreaction.
And all those that said "there" mates, you meant "their" mates.  |
