 | News Comment | Hull City 0-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:53:30
Northampton apart Since Sunderland at home the performances have been 5 out 10s rather than the average 3-4 that preceded it, So some improvement has been evident Tonight was a 7 we should have won by at least 2-0 Due to Lambert ?- I suspect it has more to do with the returning fitness of Norwood. |
 | News Comment | Blue Action: Protest Claims Sensationalist and Exaggerated at 15:09:09
The irresponsible thing was to do this in Covid times. I hope Blue Action kept their distances and travelled separately Whilst this protest may have been ill judged due to its timing something does need to be done to highlight the unacceptable rot that has set in. Maybe better options would be leaving a covid safe tractor load of manure outside each training ground entrance, catapulting endless quantities of bread onto the training pitch so it attracts gulls, hiring a jumbo screen showing players playing attacking football and scoring goals. This protest should not be a one off |
 | News Comment | Edwards and Thomas to Be Assessed Ahead of Hull Trip at 10:11:59
I Think Hull will run at our defence from central positions a bit more which will be different to Saturday and defending crosses. Can Toto go 2 games without being involved in a penalty? Edwards for Bennetts Lambert Out |
 | News Comment | Lambert Out Beer Launched at 23:54:30
A bit silly but not as ridiculous as Lambert still being at the club. It seems that you have to lose more than 6 out 8 home games, turn a reasonable squad of players at this level into the worst team in a lifetime, insult the owner more in the national media, alienate more fans and put more than 2 senior pros in the U23 to lose your job at ITFC, Not to mention play a brand of football that does not involve shooting to get the sack! Lambert has even failed at getting the sack. C@NT! |
 | News Comment | Blackburn Eyeing Dozzell at 14:40:47
Spoke to a Blackburn fan Mowbray may be coming to the end up there would definitely take him over the current D1ck in charge |
 | News Comment | O'Neill: Not Viable to Stay Over and Play Game on Sunday at 08:47:22
The games at nearby Crewe and Port Vale had been postponed by Friday the country is freezing with a forecast for a thaw on Sunday - It would not have taken Mastermind to have planned ahead for a late postponement and arrange the option of playing on Sunday. Im guessing we thought this through - Norwood is not fit, we need him and hope he will be fit in April, also Shrewsbury are in form right now - so we did not put plans in place for a re-arrangement and allowed the cancellation. I would have done this if in Towns position No excuses now for Tuesday Happy Valentines |
 | News Comment | Taylor: Draw Would Have Been a Fair Result at 07:38:19
Last night we played like a Conference side but without the organisation or physicality So much 'wrongness' but in the last 15, when it was clear we had no idea how to score, why not bring on Drinan to try and cause some problems and make space for Parrot? Did Sears even kick the ball? The Town players did look truly gutted at the end of the game |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-0 Blackpool - Match Report at 21:21:10
Last 10 minutes we looked like a good side with signs that Harrop and Mathieson can be dangerous. Sears has to score from that chance Peterboroughs back 3 and front 3 will form a more difficult test on Tuesday, but with Downes protecting the back 4 I think we will ask them more questions than a few weeks ago. Encouraging |
 | News Comment | Town Sign Matheson on Loan From Wolves at 19:57:51
Had a good second half against us at Spotland last year. Quality on the ball. Hard to see him coming into the defence with the side already lacking height-unless as a wing back 3-5-2 ? This is a crap league - is it too late? |
 | News Comment | Jackson Linked With Huddersfield Loan Move at 11:07:17
I saw the highlights of Huddersfield on Quest on Saturday - yes that bored They are miles better than us Good Luck if he goes Can we sign a big Target man with loads of pace, who can hold the ball up, run in behind, make his own chances, is a fox in the box, drop deep, defend at set pieces, score from set pieces, take a good free kick, injure Alan Judge and with a view to player manager role in the next 2 weeks ? |
