Huws: Only the Start
No prizes for coming second Wickets!!
Huws will be EFL League 1 player of the season
O'Neill: Season Ticket Announcement on Wednesday
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but I would hazard a guess that the majority, not all fans were happy with the direction the club was going, and the lower league signings made.
Clearly it was too many, and the experienced players we needed to integrate them with, for whatever reason were sold and/or allowed to leave.
The club needs us fans more than ever to get behind the team so our stay in league one is no longer than one season.
Quaner: You're Seeing the Best of Me
Maybe he’s finally getting match fit.... don’t believe he had played much at Uddersfield.
Think he’s played well this past month.
Either way I can’t see us signing him for next season.
Judge Signs New Town Deal
Great news in getting Judge signed up.
Would like to us sign Norwood from Tranmere as our goal machine
Defender Smith and Academy Scholars Released
This is nothing new, or to do with relegation. Not every academy player makes it.
Only this morning on TalkSPORT Alan Brazil was speaking about when he was a youth product at Ipswich and made lots of friends, but only he, Terry Butcher, and Russell Osman made it from their intake.
Harsh realities of football but hopefully they will get picked up elsewhere and still make a career out of it.
Town Launch New Tickets for Schools Scheme
Pretty much agree with all comments so far....
Should have been done ages ago to get the next generations through the gates.
If you’re not in the top flight you have to think outside the box to get new supporters in, otherwise you’ll walk round the town and see less and less Ipswich shirts and more Man City.
Hopefully it isn’t too late, and will work.
Never a Dull Moment With One-Off Beattie
What a great read, and a great ending anecdote.
Can’t believe I won’t hear The Beat’s voice live again. I usually get the train up from London to our home games, to partake in liquid libation before kickoff, but on occasions when I did drive I enjoyed listening to life’s a pitch with The Beat.
RIP to the great man. Coybssssssssss
Blues Legend Beattie Dies
Nooooooo.... RIP The Beat
Would have been the most expensive defender in this day and age!!
