General concencus is that 8 wins would be enough, but that 8 wins is never going to happen. |

He didn't play great, but I thought he took responsibility for getting on the ball which was more than most. |

Should we expect an announcement in the morning? |

I'd imagine any new manager would want the Barrow game out of the way before they took up the post. Likewise the club will be keen to tie then new management appointment in with the #PackOutPR campaign. |

Surely "The Wild Thing" should be more prominent in the list of names for a nex t manager? 9 years at the same club suggests he must be popular with both owners and supporters, and also has League One promotion on his CV. Not even on the bookies radar as far as i can see. |

He did a good job at Colchester considering the players he had at his disposal. I would be quite happy to give him until the end of the season. Nothing like a short term contract to get the best out of an employee. |

I doesn't really matter if we as the fans question Cook, it's whether or not the new owners are questioning him, and i believe they probably are. The owners, and anyone with more than a handful of grey matter between their ears, were well aware that this season was one of rebuilding, and that promotion was unlikely to be acheived. It'll be Cooks approach that will concern the owners. I firmly believe they will insist in bringing in an experienced assistant for Cook, or maybe even a good old fashioned DOF. |

I like your thinking. Let's abandon a tactic that got us within a couiple of kicks of winng the most prestigious prize in all of football. |

You could look at it as an opportunity for players to play their way into form. I would hope to see the likes of Coulsen, Barry and Aluko involved. As well as any players coming back from injury. |

I wouldn't think so. After what he has been through i can't imagine he is anywhere near match fit. That aside, i always think a new signing should earn the right to be included in the first XI. Sends out the wrong message to the squad if a new player goes straight in. |

You should go into every game, no matter what competition, looking to win the game. That means picking a team that is capable of winning the game. The attitude of considering any match as not important, has been a contributing factor in the losing menatlity that is entrenched in our club. |
