I doesn't really matter if we as the fans question Cook, it's whether or not the new owners are questioning him, and i believe they probably are.
The owners, and anyone with more than a handful of grey matter between their ears, were well aware that this season was one of rebuilding, and that promotion was unlikely to be acheived.
It'll be Cooks approach that will concern the owners. I firmly believe they will insist in bringing in an experienced assistant for Cook, or maybe even a good old fashioned DOF.

I like your thinking.
Let's abandon a tactic that got us within a couiple of kicks of winng the most prestigious prize in all of football.
So... West Ham game

You could look at it as an opportunity for players to play their way into form.
I would hope to see the likes of Coulsen, Barry and Aluko involved. As well as any players coming back from injury.

I wouldn't think so.
After what he has been through i can't imagine he is anywhere near match fit. That aside, i always think a new signing should earn the right to be included in the first XI. Sends out the wrong message to the squad if a new player goes straight in.

You should go into every game, no matter what competition, looking to win the game. That means picking a team that is capable of winning the game.
The attitude of considering any match as not important, has been a contributing factor in the losing menatlity that is entrenched in our club.

If they are mediocre loans then yes, but look at the quality of the loan signings. Barry can't even get on the pitch, and he's the Brummy Messi!

I don't know if he did or he didn't. If he didn't I guess it just means he had the hump after a loss. I don't think any of the players will be fussed either way.

PR won't turn for a long while yet.
You have to remember that Twitter is predominantly a sounding board for frustrated people seeking attention. People act very differently when they're not sat behind a keyboard.
Scott Fraser - out of position
at 09:36 17 Aug 2021
It appears to me that the three offensive players behind the striker have the freedom to roam, so in effect any one of them could find themselves in the number 10 position at any given time. A good example of that is when Chaplin set up Fraser againts Morcambe. Chaplin had moved to the inside left position, and Fraser arrived from the deeper cenral position.
Does Aluko have a 30 day free refund clause?
at 09:24 11 Aug 2021
In no way whatsoever did he cost us the game.
Didn't have a great 60 mins by any means, but he was only signed 3 days ago, and was playing in a team of players that has never played together, and barely trained together.
If you are writing off a player with his level of experience after only 60 minutes then you should probably choose another sport to follow.

For goodness sake man. It's just people trying to be funny. Lighten up, or rub one out, but either way give it a rest.

Also proved once more that he isprovides more than adequate cover at right back.
We’re we poor last night
at 09:19 28 Jul 2021
We weren't poor in the slightest. Lots of good signs in fact, but we are rebuilding, and that will take time to come together.
Holy was arguably only to blame for Judges goal. Smiths header was towering, and he was badly let down by his centre backs (sound familiar) for Noubles goal.
Centre midfield was short due to injury, so more cover needed there.
Penney was ok. Lacked an end product last night. I'm not sure what people are expecting from an inexperienced full back who was let go by a relegated championship team. Their version of Kenlock in all honesty.
Our passing was a lot more courageous. Players looked comfortable in possesion, and they were happy to play the ball inside and forward, rather than backwards, as we saw all too often under Lambert. They looked like they weren't afraid to risk losing the ball, as they now knew how to win it back.
Chuck a couple of more experienced heads down the core of the team and we can be full of hope for the season ahead.

Not picking on anyone, just pointing out that two unknown midfielders playing in a L2 side bossed the midfield tonight.
