at 10:06 24 May 2019

I'm putting the final programmes from my late Uncles collection onto ebay so if anyone is interested please have a look. They are in decades so I have

70's 182 programmes
80's 262 programmes
90's 265 programmes
2000's 217 programmes

The 2000's go on sale from Sunday the rest are active now. All proceeds going to Parkinsons UK.

If you know anyone who collects programmes please let them know. Thank you.

AMSTERDAM 81
at 12:36 20 May 2019

On this day twenty years ago i was in Amsterdam to witness Mick Mills lifting the UEFA Cup! I was 20, still a student and not sure how I afforded the trip. Can't remember much about it to be honest apart from it being a very hot day, having a few of beers in a park in the city and watching all the young ladies cycling round!
I still have the programme, my match ticket and an AZ Alkmaar scarf I swapped for mine after the match.

Anyone else have any memories of this fantastic day?

MY UNCLES FUNERAL TODAY - OVER 50 YEARS SEASON TICKET HOLDER
at 11:35 23 Apr 2019

Hi all this is my first ever post on here having read comments for several years but felt I had to post something today.
It's my uncle Micks (Michael Elliston's) funeral today at Ipswich Crematorium. He is being cremated with an Ipswich Town scarf and Edward Ebeneezer playing over the speakers. He was a season ticket holder for over 50 years and Ipswich Town was his one passion in life. Sadly his health has declined in the last few years almost in correlation with the fortunes of his beloved team.
Anyway we have had to clear his house and found hundreds of football programmes, many of the modern ones have been thrown away but I have some of the older ones on sale on ebay under my name: kevintopple. If there are any programme collectors out there please have a look. I'd like them to go to a genuine Ipswich supporter if possible, or if anyone knows of an Ipswich Town archive where they can be donated that would be great.
Many thanks and COYB!
