Town Women Re-Sign Doe

@PhuketPete dual registration would still be available for us in the Championship (tier 2) from a WSL (tier 1) club

You'll need one given the grounds the girls have to play at.

Seriously, Ruby is a great addition to the squad and will add that extra bite to the middle of the park.
Would have liked her to return at the beginning of the season but guess she wanted to see how her move to West Ham went.

Town Women Denied Return to Top as Game Abandoned
at 21:02:44

Gwalia claimed that no all weather pitch was available.
Therefore the real question is, given the weather forecast for today, should the match have been postponed yesterday to prevent team and supporters travelling?
We did this for Exeter last year when F&W pitch was potentially playable but weather forecast would have seen a deterioration of playing conditions.

Great to see players getting international recognition but why are these tournaments played in the middle of the season?
She will now be unavailable for the next five games.
That's a significant part of the women's league/cup season.
Ridiculous scheduling!!

Tractor Girls Sign Arsenal Midfielder
at 16:54:37

Dual registration is not uncommon in the women's game at this level. Leonie Jackson has just signed dual registration with Needham Market as she wasn't getting game time here and Needham's first choice goalie is out long term injured.
It is similar to a loan deal in the men's game but it has the added flexibility that you can play for both teams when required.
Freya is an Arsenal academy player and she could be selected for their academy matches if Arsenal needed her. However this would not be a recall like in loan deals in that she would still be able to play for us again after playing for them.
Hope this makes sense now.

Lengthy Ban For Tractor Girls Defender Egan
at 08:57:45

OliveR16
If you were at the game you would realise Egan has been stitched up by the referee's report and an over zealous decision by Suffolk FA.
Nothing untoward happened at the end of play other than the player feeling that the ref hadn't given any decisive decisions our way.
The situation is nothing like Norwood and only shows a naïve expression of passion on her behalf.
All true supporters will be behind her in this unjust decision.
As others here and elsewhere have pointed out De Canio and Suarez where treated far less harshly for more serious offences.
Where is the equality??

How to protect a 1-0 lead. - Lads pay attention!
Though to be fair to the girls it should have been a more comprehensive victory.
A dominant display deserved more goals.
The important thing though, there was very little danger of conceding.
This despite a completely different back line and keeper.

Tractor Girls Sign Keeper Quantrill
at 13:54:37

BcarefulwhatUWish4 - if you listen to the girls interviews who have signed their first pro deals, they all talk about back to back promotion. So their aim is clear.

The club brought out a supporter pack in the aborted 2019/20 season : '4-1 Journey' meaning promotion from tier 4 to tier 1.
They are ultimately aiming for the WSL.
And with the talented young squad of players (9 have made the England U19 squad in the last two seasons) I wouldn't bet against them.

If you had signed up to their True Blue scheme (similar to a season ticket but paid monthly) you would have had access to live streaming of all the games inaccessible to supporters

http://www.itfcwomen.co.uk/true-blue.html

Not sure if games will be streamed this season though as club want to encourage supporters to attend live matches where possible.
