Morsy: Boss is as Focused as I've Ever Seen Him
If it helps I have also been through it. Few years ago both my nephews supported ITFC (they are in 20's now). My sis remarried- long story short they've been Norwich fans last few years. Was absolutely gutted. However, I remember 1978 and the glory years after. I remember the Burley years with Matt Holland in midfield. They only had the 1-0 Priskin win to remember (and we got beat in the second leg) and that home draw with Norwich a few years back. Young supporters need to see success and we haven't had much the last few years at Ipswich. Was hoping this would be a time of change but seems we are heading downwards rather than upwards. Young fans have left in droves.
Ipswich Town 1-2 West Ham U21s - Match Report
We seem to be headed in the wrong direction.
Many games still to go but things are looking worse for ITFC than they have ever been. What is happening in coaching? What on earth is going so badly wrong?
Ed Sheeran New Town Sponsor
Haven't posted in a long time.Too many bad results and felt I was saying the same thing over and over again like a broken record.
Can see bright times ahead for our club. This is great new :)
QPR Again Linked With Judge
If they do trigger the release clause there is nothing we can do. I just hope the release clause is at least 5 or 6 million pounds.
Target Mayor at Portman Road
Plymouth, Tranmere or us. Well, Norwood picked us so let's hope we get the same result here.
Could be a quick visit as he's made his decision or alternatively wasn't interested, impossible to tell anything by a quick visit.
Lambert: We're Still Looking at Free Transfers
Unless we sell, I doubt we will bring anyone new in. 15M is a lot to lose in a season, and though that figure will be offset by reduction in players wages, non-renewal of last years contracts and the sales of Clarke and Harrison; it is nowhere near enough. ME will still be funding us considerably. To be honest, wouldn't surprise me of we lose a couple of players for some cash.
Bart's Millwall Move Off
1 million was too cheap anyway, and they then had the audacity to try and buy him even cheaper!
Hasn't Bart had a pay cut also?
Oh, just saw dissboyitfcs post.
All Seven Out-of-Contract Senior Players Released
I'd agree with every decision Lambert has made so far in relation to transfers except 1. McKendry has been our stand out player for the U23 squad for the last two seasons so I find it odd that he's been released. But other than that I see no issues with the other 9 players who have been released. Out of our 6 loanees, Lambert has also made the right decision by only signing Judge.
Hull Confirm Keane's Release
Better than Harrison and Jackson but rather prone to injuries. Two very serious knee injuries before joining us and now the hamstring injury. Risky signing in my opinion but that's why I'm not a football manager.
Sheffield United 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
I have so many poor memories of supporting Town. But this season is easily the worst. From a personal level, my nephews both switched at end of last season from Ipswich to Norwich as they were fed up of the boring football under MM. Enter this season and my own son switched allegiance after only a couple of games under the new regime. My stomach churned at both decisions but I hoped this side would prove my nephews and my son wrong. Ever since this ITFC squad has only let me down over and over again. Meanwhile, celebrations are taking place up the road. I have never felt so let down by this team. Every week I have felt abject humiliation and tell myself that it's only a game, there's more to life than football, but it still hurts. Bad decision after bad decision by the club, when are they going to realise that it's about quality of players not quantity? I don't even think this team is ready for league 1 next season and will struggle, whatever team we play.
My son told me a couple of hours ago that he now knows what success feels like. I just shook my head and took a long walk.
McCarthy: Keane Out for Six Weeks
Well said Elto. A sensible opinion as always.
If MM knew this info, you can guarantee the Reading manager (Gomes) knew it anyway.
Lambert: Ndaba's Got Better and Better
McKendry needs to be signed up. Can see us losing a few players in the Summer and he's a first-teamer in the making in League One.
Ndaba Signs First Pro Deal
Best of luck to the lad, but we need to make sure McKendry also pens a deal. Easily our best player in the U23 team.
