I’m halfway to Plymouth and have just realised
at 21:56 1 Mar 2024

If you bought your ticket via the ITFC ticket website, it will show history of your ticket purchases. That should help you to some degree. Have you got a confirmation email on your phone which will also show proof of purchase,

Not on TV as originally to be played on Saturday. Will be the same for us when we play Rotherham.

Potentially Morsy has not got a league match till Preston away, 3rd Feb. Rotherham game will be postponed as it’s FA Cup 4th round on that weekend.

Something Norwich fans have yet to explain
at 20:18 17 Dec 2023

Haven’t even played them for five seasons the past is irrelevant. What matters this season is we could go up automatically, at worst the playoffs. Got Norwich it’s mid table boredom as per last season with a small chance of finishing 6th. Their highlight of the season was yesterday!

Despite our brillant run we have not featured on SKY at all this year (off the top of head). However SKY decided to back their limited League 1 coverage by solely covering those losers Sheffield Wednesday. If nothing else our brillant team should be shown nationally to at least allow people to know what’s coming next season!

I would be surprised to see any cameras outside town or city centres. I am sûre if something had been coming you would have registered the lights. Easily done, you won’t do it again!

Bill Treacher RIP
at 23:43 8 Nov 2022

I am surprised that Bill’s death hasn’t made more of a headline on TWTD. It was well published back in the day that he followed the Blues. Bill and Brian Cant being the best two Town supporting celbs before Ed came along,

Does anyone under 60 watch the Queen's speech?
at 20:23 25 Dec 2021

I can’t believe that at age 57 she has been queen longer than I have been alive. Just think at the time she had become queen, Ipswich hadn’t won the league under Sir Alf, Kennedy was yet to be shot and the Banana Splits were still ten years away - it’s nuts!

What happened 3 years ago today?

As a guess, we had more loanee’s in the team than our own players.

Worst players from Town history who would walk into this side?

You cannot have Priskin. Wasn't it Priskin who scored against Arsenal in the semi and who also played against England at Wembley? He is one of our all time greats!

For Fans who live MILES from Ipswich
at 19:22 15 Feb 2021

Despite the name PSGBlue I actually live in Sleaford, so won’t be a regular at the Parc de Prince anytime soon.

Having been a regular 1977 - 2014 my job has made it impossible to have a season ticket and it was down to 5-8 home games a season plus a few away games local to me. However having not attended a match for a year, I have not missed PR, such a miserable place these days.

Once crowds are allowed back, I tell myself that I should start to watch ITFC, once again. But it now feels like an effort rather than something that I want to do. I dare say I will come back eventually.

But to answer the question. An Ipswich Team probably created by fans is almost more appealing than going in the ME era. Doesn’t say much about the state of play now.

It will be interesting to see how many return once all the restrictions are lifted. 12,000 tops?

Peterborough invested in pitch frost covers... but still can’t see match going
at 23:33 6 Feb 2021

The main problem for Tuesday night will be the snow which is forecast for Monday and Tuesday at Peterborough. As some have already said temperatures barely above zero. We will be lucky to get this on and also next weekend with a frozen pitch.

What a difference from last year at London Road. Sunny, warm and 4000 away fans pre Covid and still unbeaten if I remember rightly. Where’s it all gone wrong?

Muhren and Thijssen
at 16:48 22 Nov 2018

I remember Muhren scoring the only goal of the match against Forest in the 6th Round of the cup in the 80/81 season. Unfortunately we lost 1-0 to Man City in the semi.

But following the Murhen goal, Shoot magazine had a double page picture of Muhren and Brazil celebrating the goal with Shilton lying on his stomach looking back at the ball, nestled in the back of the net. That photo stayed on my wall for a few years.

Great memories!

Brentford at Home next Week

Glad it was originally on a Weds as I thought I was going mad. Must have been on the initial Fixture list and I stuck the 19th in my diary, did not see the alteration!

Am I going mad, but I could have sworn this was next Weds night but have just realised it’s Tuesday night as normal. Was this game ever scheduled for next Weds or did I imagine it!

Didn't they get lucky with the weather?
at 20:04 19 May 2018

There are not always contrails in the sky, it depends on certain atmospheric conditions. Temperatures and humidity for example. That's why military planes will change heights in order to avoid producing contrails, so not to be seen from the ground.

But, yes perfect conditions for a wedding!

Official Norwich Cannot make the Playoffs
at 17:04 14 Apr 2017

Norwich 12 points off Sheff Wed who have 72 points. But due to the fact Sheff Wed play Fulham on the last day of the season one of them would get at least 73 by the end of the season.

New prices already out....(and they've gone up!)
at 22:59 16 Mar 2017

What a kick in the teeth if you are 61-64, you will see a rise of between £150-£200 approx. Some these fans would have been supporting the club for 40-50 years! What a disgrace to loyal fans!
