Walton has been poor most of this season, perhaps there is a reason he never made it in the higher leagues. We lack concentration and confidence in the final stages which unfortunately is because the players are not premier league and switch off. The last minute goals are a pattern now. However there is still all to play for and lets see if any defenders come in the transfer window. Ipswich will never do it the easy way, but the season is still on |

Yet another game where we completely dominated every stat, 21 shots to 2, something like 8 on target, and can't take all 3 points. This has happened on numerous occasions and simply is not good enough if automatic promotion is (maybe 'was'!) the target. Tragic really. |

Our basic ball control looked poor all over the pitch, pfaffing about at the back allowed Rotherham to put us under pressure, often self inflicted. Their goal was a good example- we had a short goal kick and ended up giving them a throw in in our final third. They got a corner from the long throw, another long throw from the corner clearance which ended up in the net. Much work needed to improve the squad to be serious contenders. |

Watched on Sky, looked like a typical performance of old, had some good chances but failed to score, made basic errors to lose possession and invite pressure, then conceded a poor goal. A long way off being a top 2 team in L1 on that performance. |
