I find myself in the odd position of potentially only being able to make Tuesday night games this season. I realise there may be some scorn poured on the idea in some corners of the forum but if there's any STH that are Saturday Only attendees I'd welcome the opportunity to discuss an informal agreement for first refusal on the Tuesdays?

I just never got the hype! Look 50-odd league goals is not to be sniffed at and undeniably he's important in the club's history I just never understood why so many were clamouring for him to play come hell or high water. In my head he was always trying to do the clever stuff often at the expense of the rest of the team (trying to play in behind when we weren't exactly capable of threading the needle for example) I just think that at the time my view was coloured and never once have I been dissuaded of the notion.

There's a bar called Rudy's which is about 34th high, and 7th or 8th along? Not a million miles from Times Square, perhaps three blocks if memory serves.
Anyway you can get a pitcher of lager for about $15 plus tip, and with that they do free hotdogs with each beer. So you could feasibly park there at 5pm and not move all night, and you get your dinner at the same time.
Would echo walking one of the bridges, but add that we walked Brooklyn > Manhattan after sunset so you get a lovely view of the skyscape as you go. |

This is absolutely class - would you mind sharing it and/or how much of it would be translatable to other tables/fixtures? I'd have one eye on (for example) Fantasy NFL permutations and so on.

Had mine done at the turn of the year - zero issues all the way along. GP wasn't particularly rigorous in the questioning: "Are you both sure?" "Yes." "Ok I will refer." Appointment was booked about three weeks later.
Procedure itself was dominated by a collective effort on Popmaster (a bit unnerving admittedly and would have preferred focus on the job in hand) and when I mentioned discomfort they pumped more anaesthetic in there and it was all good.
At the very least it made for a week in bed free of obligation. |

I did it for the Tranmere game and for what you pay (£0) I think it is excellent. Turn up at about half 1 (I think) and walk down the side of the pitch to the dugout for a picture with Bluey and a decent quality certificate to boot. My little one's name was read out on the PA at half time which made it one more time than I've ever managed.
I combined it with registering for Junior Blues so didn't pay anything that day. |
