Does anyone else find Arsenal celebrating like they’ve won the Champions League final every time they win a game a bit weird?
Watching today - you’d think they secured a trophy after the game. Arteta bores the shot’ out of me - with his celebrations, and as for Rice making out that he’s only started learning how to play football since joining Arsenal - it’s boring the life out of me already.
I hope they fail miserably this season. Bunch of amateur pretenders. It’s embarrassing.
I watched the Rangers Kilmarnock today (in which Ndaba played well) but Christ on a bike Chris Sutton as an on site pundit is a life sapping scum bag. Why oh why have sky got this count as a pundit. Utterly hate the guy….! Argumentative little demon of a person.
Too light weight for the championship. There will be a noticeable difference in the stature of players in the championship next season in my opinion - and he’s not physical enough to bring in for me.
Ladapo was never the player we needed as a sole centre forward in league one. Full stop. McKenna came from the premier league and gathered statistics of him being efficient. Sadly McKenna hasn’t been on the ball in league one - and doesn’t realise that he’s NOT a lone striker. Nor does he realise that Jackson is a national league level striker on his own.
McKenna needs to change the formation - before we change the manager, or he, and we as a club will run out of time for promotion. It won’t happen - because he won’t (through lack of brain power and managerial experience - won’t change his formation) and we’ll stay down - so he’ll be gone hopefully.
Someone with a tactical brain - who, after 20 minutes would have the balls to take someone off and change the shape. I’m a bit bored of watching the same turgid formation for every minute of every game under McKenna now.
I think the chance of McKenna changing the formation he has played for every minute of every game - with no plan b despite any of our striking options tends to suggest that we won’t see them both start.
Maybe, just maybe we might now have an option to play two up front if we’re 30 shots in on a game and still drawing 0-0 to one of the bottom 5 teams…. Who knows?
Bistro on the quay closed ages ago. Over a year ago. It’s been taken over and is a mere shadow of its former self. Went once expecting a meal at the bistro, greeted by the new decor and ownership - and have never been since. Used to be a regular lunch per game meal at the bistro, but would t ever go there again since it changed name, ownership and menu.
