I think under the current regime we give as little away about the fitness of our players as possible. We want Blackburn and Southampton to prepare for us with and without him. Makes their job a bit more tricky.
Blue was traditionally the Brazil teams colours, but they changed donkeys years ago after getting pumped by someone. Strangely enough in their own world cup the Germans also pumped them , but this time they stayed with the gold.
My biggest concern is that we made such a big loss in those finances. Everything went right in that time period. That black kit sold shed loads. Most results on the pitch were perfect. Salaries were only on league 1 levels so quite tight. Stadium was packed. I don't really see how we could have done much better?
Outgoing 2M for pr pitch and I think it was another 1M for 3 pitches up playford road. It just kind of make me worried about when we find our level and the feeling good drops. I just feel like we should have at least broken even last financial year with everything going to plan. Please bare in mind I have not studied the finances. Just a bit surprised in such a blue sky season has generated bigger loss.
Of course you are correct, I just seems like every game at Portman Road this season, the refs seem to have tried to make a game of it. Due to the number it seems weird to call it a coincidence and hence my outrageous statement. Hopefully by the end of the season I can say at least 1 of the refs played it fair. Thusfar it's not the case.
I would still say it's the refs. They seem to try and even the match up at Portman Road by giving the opposition every possible decision. Away from home the refs seem much fairer? Very odd.
What with all the stats and analysis about opposing teams and players I wonder if we as a club have a dossier on refs? I wondered this because when we played West Brom they seemed to know exactly how to get around the ref with dark arts. And basically got away with a lot before the ref took action. The fact that Morsy has 10+ yellows to his name suggests we don't factor this. I wonder what some teams actually do to get the extra 1 or 2 % of decisions.
Supporters of an age will remember probably our last awesome team (prior to current decent side) which had Mowbray and Venus as centre halves. It would be kinda cool if we could do a welcome display for them. Some of us remember how great we were and sending out our appreciation would be the correct thing to do. Can't remember what the young chaps who do these displays is, but hopefully they would consider this.
I don't think it was as bad as we make out. Other than giving away 3 soft goals they did little else. Pne ran their socks off and it was clear second half we were much fitter as per most weeks. Both new forwards looked decent.
I think Maidstone used up all there luck for the next 200 years. But fair play to them on their victory. Special mention to ref Taylor who also seemed to want them to win.
I have complained about almost every ref at Portman Road this year, but today we had supposedly England's finest. I don't think he will want to remember that match.
