They do have a duty of care. But they don't care.
The people who sign off on the work are so rich it doesn't matter if anything comes to light and if something does come to light, they can blame it any number of graduates or middle management who did the actual work. It's why this Big 4 bull is exactly that, bull.
If any accountancy issues ever make the news (Patisserie valerie from a couple of years back), its normally an "oh no...... anyway, here's some many, make this go away".
Accountability in most professions doesn't really exist anymore. |

He never got a pass for his violent past nor was he a good footballer either.
Don't imply that I am offended because he writes mean stuff on twitter. I am saying that wouldn't just band around his tweets because he is a div. Nor would I appreciate it if we started putting up Andrew Tate tweets or Piers Morgan tweets or whoever but it's not an issue.

I don't think we should be posting Joey's tweets on here. I get that Evans is not a decent fella, but to call him a pig is a bit far.
We don't really want to give the guy airtime because he is a cont.

But then you look and Cole Palmer is the absolute alpha of that team and he knows it. He was always taking that pen, he's just not a knobhead enough to start kicking off and it's good that Gallagher showed his credentials and put those pretenders in their place.
I did laugh when Chelsea fans cheered when Palmer got hold of the ball. I don't think Jackson will be there next season. |

Leicester are well and truly cooked. I said it at the time prior to the Leeds game - they lose that, it will be 2 into 4 because they are very fragile. I was tooting right!
Leicester are bottlers, their manager already has excuses at the ready as he did Friday. Southampton will roll them over without an issue.
Leeds are just like Town right now and struggling to score with everyone putting 10 men behind the ball but their fixtures are the hardest remaining too. QPR and Boro will stick it right to them. Soton have to win all their games but they won't.
We are top right now with 3 (3!) games to go. I think we will do Hull over and then be celebrating promotion away at Coventry and then the title at PM in May.
It's our time, you might as well enjoy it. |

Not the best results this week but top of the league with 3 to play.
Keep doing the calculator with all the different results but I just cannot see Ipswich finishing below 2nd. 96 points and we will be champions I reckon. I cannot get away from the fact that Southampton won't pick up at least one result against Leeds or Leicester. |

Appreciate this is probably an incredibly dumb question but what is with the continued escalation?
I mean the choice of language used by allies of Israel continues to be concerning, the continued escalation and tit for tat violence (I don't mean to trivialise it but it seems retaliation on a constant basis) and now the fact the a large contingent of the middle east will now rapidly become involved in this to the point where a world war is looking more likely than ever.
Where is the person or the organisation to ease these tensions and apply some common sense? Innocent people getting caught up for what purpose! World has gone feral. |

It's harder to play against a team that has no intention of attacking so we were doing at lot of chasing down. Our front four on multiple occasions were knackered and that might be because of the possible illnesses in the camp.
But if we score in the first half, it's a different game and a lot easier.
Still in our hands and more twists to come. Just need to will them over the line. |

I read that apparently the PL want further point deductions for costs associated with the stadium construction.
Now to me, this is black and white. If it's a capital cost (i.e a stadium!), it shouldn't form part of PSR. Same applies to infrastructure etc. If there is an issue with cost allocation, that's an audit issue, not a club or league issue.
This is why the rules are so stupid if the League isn't understanding of it's own rules. |
