| News Comment | Pearson Confirms Town Interest in Bakinson and Says Midfielder Can Go at 16:07:52
This is coming from Nigel Pearson - let's not remember the 'are you an ostrich?" he said to reporters once. Not exactly known for his man-management skills.... Everyone saying this is an Ashton signing.... he got Walton in? I very much doubt he would get any players in without the manager signing off on it.. |
| News Comment | Downes: My Head Started to Go at 19:21:47
Well done Flynn for having the courage to come out and speak about mental health. When a lot of people still see football as a man man's game. I take my hat off to you for speaking out |
| News Comment | Moore Excited and Ready to Get Going With Town at 08:57:39
Murphy didn't exactly pull up trees for us until a few seasons back. The least we can do is give him some support. All anger should be directed at the board and then to MM |
| News Comment | Bishop Charged With Betting Offences By FA at 21:34:12
Until we know the full facts bit hard to pass judgement. Hopefully it'll just be a fine and that is it. We need to remember he is 18. When I was 18 most of that year was spent in a drunken blur. Hopefully he was beating on Norwich loosing. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Leeds' Loss Town's Gain at 12:03:52
Creswell is doing well at West Ham - quite a lot of articles have been written about how well he has been doing Gareth McAuley has consistently been in the West Brom team for the last few years. Walters is a fan favourite at Stoke Just a few off the top of my head :) |
| News Comment | Doherty at Town This Weekend at 11:45:53
Some really positive signings and all without spending a penny yet. We are really starting to develope not only a strong starting 11 but a strong squad. Onwards and upwards. I feel we will be pushing for a top 6 finish this season. |
| News Comment | Veseli Deal Confirmed at 14:53:52
Got a good feeling about this. We are building a squad capable of challenging for the top 6. All without MM spending a penny. Can you imagine what our team would of been like if had been given the money that JM,RK or PJ had been given? |
| News Comment | Town in Hunt for Winger at 09:40:02
Yes please. This would be fantastic if Big Mick can pull it off. I feel we are going to have a good summer with players coming in! |
| News Comment | Skuse: Town a Sleeping Giant at 14:47:00
If Tabb doesn't want to play for us, no great loss. Would rather have players who are happy to play for the shirt than arse about wanting longer contracts. Probably his agent trying to get a better deal though Could always offer him a 2 year deal with the option of a 3rd year if he plays a certain number of games. |
| News Comment | Campbell Wants Championship Loan at 10:23:37
I very much doubt he is being ignored. I just think Garvan is throwing his toys out the pram. Maybe if he put his head down and worked on his game, then Keane might consider him. Simple |
| News Comment | Campbell Wants Championship Loan at 10:05:07
If you notice where this story has come from....it is The Mirror! AGAIN! They have for the last few weeks been posting many anti Ipswich stories, I think maybe a journo from there has it in for Keane |
| News Comment | Peterborough Chasing McAuley? at 09:30:58
If you notice, it is The Mirror that reported this, The Mirror has written 6/7 stories recently all connected with Ipswich...seems a bit odd! |
| News Comment | Lisbie: I Won\'t Be Back at 10:43:33
Six goals in 12 matches....4 of those against Norwich, so therefore he has 2 goals in 11 matches....in Leauge 1... What a good ratio |
| News Comment | McClaren Linked at 10:48:46
We all have to back Keane. It doesnt matter if you think he is right for the job or not. He is manager of Ipswich Town Football Club. And I support Ipswich Town Football Club, regardless of whoever is in charge. I remember when everyone yes I mean everyone was calling for Sir Bobby Robson when he took over at Ipswich and look what happened. We cannot expect instant success. Its about time you moaners took stock, shut up and just got behind the team for once |
| News Comment | McClaren Linked at 10:08:17
If this is true. I will still be an Ipswich supporter but I want go and see them anymore. Replacing a manager after a handfull of games is not the Ipswich way. For christ sake we gave Jim Magilton 3 seasons. And yet everyone has got the knives out for Keane. I do hope he stays, he has the passion and commitment for the job. He has to succed with Ipswich as I fear if not it would be his last shot at management. He will take us to the Premiership...all the signs are there. We could of easily had 6 points from the last two matches if it wasnt for bad luck. The luck will change soon. We are Ipswich Town, and we support our club no matter what, through the good and bad times. We do not expect instant success. So come on boys and girls get behind Keano and the team |
