I blame the owner. With what he had and who he had I think Mick worked wonders. I question the owner's support and I fear that we will have difficulty in keeping Mick and TC. Although they don't say much about it, you only have to look at what investment has been made in the Club. Recovering from the stupidity of appointing that Keane bloke, the Club is now a far happier place. However, as a season ends ultimately in failure again, any building Mick and TC have done with their squad, becomes vunerable. We need to strengthen - particularly in creative mid-field players, but come the new season, we may find ourselves again plugging holes as our better players, and possibly our great manager, move on to pastures new. |

Whilst agreeing that the entertainment level has been very low on numerous occasions this season, NOTHING can be as bad as the Keane era. He alone (apart from Evans who brought hin in) is to blame for the low depths we sank to. Mick may not produce the excitement we hope for, but at least we are not all as depressed as we were during the Keane era. Think we should erect a Keane statue so we can all deface it! |

Agree with mikeybloo88 re Chirpswich etc - I had already decided not to renew my season ticket if Keane was still there - but now, we're off again. 20 month of dragging us down will need some rebuilding. Player and fans are at a low ebb but I think Jewell could pull us back. Welcome Paul and good luck - you will certainly have my support! |

Just got home (Romford) from a round trip to Colchester and back (110miles) after hearing the game this afternoon has been called off. This behaviour is unacceptable and is taking the **** out of fans. The match last week which was played in rediculous conditions, I also missed. I am a long-term season ticket holder and was advised by police not to travel unless an emergency! Now today, a pitch "miraculously" gets frozen just before KO. If the pitch was frozen @ 1:15pm, it was frozen @ 12:30pm when I set off! 2 **** seasons and now 2 **** matches!
